We want people to do to porn so we have stuff to watch, but we continue to stigmatize the actresses by calling them whores and their partners suitcase pimps...

If anyone is a suitcase pimp, it is the guy who doesn't have a job and either pushed his partner to start doing porn or leeches off someone already doing it.

Indeed. It's not just porn, women who have had multiple sexual partners are often seen as damaged goods by many. Men are proud if they have had countless sexual partners, a woman would be wise not to reveal such details. A lot of women come out of the porn industry broken, and society is often brutal to them. I think these women should be treated a little better.

If I remember the story right, Savanna Samson is kind of the opposite of leaving porn for a regular guy. She got into porn because her regular guy husband was a big fan of Rocco movies and I would have to assume also liked watching her with other dudes. So she set up shooting with Rocco to make a legit porn movie of herself to give her husband as a gift. Then Vivid made her a big offer as a contract girl.

And then shockingly, after she was in porn for a few years they got divorced.

I don't know where you got that, but your characterization seems biased and inaccurate from what I was able to find from a quick search:

The guy is not the most articulate but that sounds like it happened by chance rather than Scott Nails manipulating and pressuring her into it. I suppose you could read into "I said, all right." rather than "We said, all right", but without being in the room, it is impossible to say how it went down.

That and those who go back into the non-adult work force, have chances of being outed and then fired. I remember reading a couple of years ago that an school teacher was fired because Karens found out about her porn star past.

Gauge was more or less hounded out of the hospital where she was training to be a surgical tech. Our so-called civilized society treats former performers like actual garbage. Especially female performers.

That is just sad. The people who did that probably watch porn, yet they went about trying to destroy her. Hypocrites. Once someone enters the porn industry, it's tough to have a normal life, even after you retire. The internet has changed things dramatically. True privacy is a thing of the past.
