SOMA (shocking story, really. I could not sleep after all playthrough thinking about this and that)

I just ordered Journey and No Man's Sky for Playstation; never played them before.

I am tired of Shooting/killing games; looking for more just exploration relaxing games. I like to screw around about an hour at night; that's how I get to sleep.

Any other suggestions for games for PS3 or PS4 that don't involve killing or combat? Nice scenary and graphics. Wish Euro Truck Simulation was available for Playstation, sounds perfect....

I would say Forza but you're on a PlayStation I'm guessing. Red Dead Redemption 2 can be quite nice. My friend I spend hours Hunting, Fishing and getting collectibles. The only downfall is the absolute dick heads on the online portion. But if you don't mind getting shot for no fucking apparent reason other than people wanting to be griefing duck holes then it might be a decent game for you. I suppose you could do the solo campaign and do most of the same stuff.

I played Red Dead Redemption 1 way back when. Great game, beautiful, and that was back then but that is too much action and gun battles, difficult things to solve.

Far Cry 5 is gorgeous and I am at the ending of it and don't even care about finishing it. I would love to be able to just tool around the stunning lands like that and hunt and fish etc. Can I do that on Red Dead Redemption 2 without being dragged into confrontations/ gun battles if I choose? (without being given tasks to complete)


I have seen screenshots of RD2 and it looks phenomenal.

Right now I am playing Borderlands 1, a game that I've not played since 2015.

I'm a big Borderlands fan (one day soon I hope I'll be able to afford a PS4 so I can play BL3) and I have beat Borderlands 2 and been through all of the DLC's/Headhunter packs.

So I thought I'd go back and finish my playthrough 1 on BL1 with my Roland character last week which I did but I have the original Game Of The Year edition so the loot from defeating the Destroyer was very disappointing to say the least.

I mean come on man, you have an epic fight (if you are under-leveled) and your joy of victory is replaced quickly by "that's all I get!!?" a couple of mediocre weapons and class mod? I have seen videos of the 2019 GOTY edition so I know you get about 8 chests that appear after the boss fight which includes a guaranteed new legendary weapon.

Anyway I moved on through all of the DLC's and found Claptrap's Robot Revolution & The Secret Armory of General Knoxx the most fun of the four.

There are about 18 red chests you can farm over and over in the Robot Revolution DLC which has lots of legendary weapons to be had.

And the number of chests to open in the Crimson Armory is staggering!

14 white chests
83 red chests
22 crimson lance chests

I have now gone through the base game on playthrough 2 and I am getting gear together to fight Crawmerax the Invincible back in playthrough 1.

I would recommend Stardew Valley; while it does have light combat game play the main focus is on farming and interacting with townsfolk. It supposed to be similar to Harvest Moon which I haven't personally played so can't comment on it.

I find it to be a very relaxing game.

Minecraft on Peaceful Mode is also an option.

I'd recommend Terraria except that it does emphasize combat a lot more with a definite weapon/armor progression and in addition to regular enemies also contains bosses.

God of War for ps4. What an amazing game. Really enjoyed playing this one and I hope there is a sequel. However, I've obtained the best armor in the game, maxed out my weapons, yet I still can't beat the Valkyrie Queen.
