In Jdownloader2, under Settings --> Plugins --> Rapidgator, into the "Define Customer Referrer" field I have a PlanetSuzy page entered that contains a Rapidgator link, and as a result I could download more than five files a day, with a max 45 minute wait between downloads. But lately I'm finding that it's back to the Draconian three downloads a day total (if I'm lucky) that I had before finding about about the PS referrer thing. Did I miss a change with regard to this?

If there was a change, it was with JD2 or RG, not PlanetSuzy.

I had gone through that thread before, but unfortunately the last post in it was almost two years ago, and from what I can tell something has changed in the last few months. From what I understand there was some sort of agreement (written or unwritten, I do not know) in place between Rapidgator and PlanetSuzy to provide members with a little better of a free service via this referrer route, so I was just wondering if others had encountered something similar. I have been using the method that -dAb- explains here: http://veterperementour.ru/showpost.p...0&postcount=18 . It had been working, but sometime in 2024 it has stopped working for me.

I went and posted on the JDownloader2 forum, and the mod there confirmed that they didn't change anything either so if at all, this was a serverside change. I guess that's that.

I don't use a referrer with Rapidgator. I hadn't tried it in a while, but I found it made the speed worse. Went from 100kbps to 50kbps.

I remember probably a few months ago now, there was an issue with Keep2Share and people were getting 50kbps. I got that in JDownloader with PlanetSuzy referrer. Eventually as it must have been resolved because it just decided to start working again at 150-200kbps without me doing anything. Must have been something to do with K2S.

I don't know if these hosts that allow referrers have an agreement with PS and other websites to allow people getting links from those sites to have faster downloads, but it seems that RG doesn't like PS for whatever reason.

Just tried PS referrer with RG and it's still the same 50kbps. :/

Sucks that FJ and RG are among the most common hosts used because they are two of the worst. Typical.
