Free Blu-ray player for Win 7?
I'm just getting to grips with my new Blu-ray drive. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it won't play back Blu-ray discs on any of the normal players - MPC, VLC, WMP etc.
I've got Roxio Creator 2011 for burning Blu-ray discs - but even it's player won't play back the discs - unless you are prepared to part with $19.99 for a plugin. What a load of bollox - if you'll excuse my French. Anyway, I've done a bit of Googling and found something called DAPlayer, so I'm going to give it a try. Just wondering if any of you have found a good free player that will work on Win 7? TIA |

When I look under Default Programs / Change AutoPlay Settings
Under Blu-ray disc movie one of the options is: Play Blu-ray movie using Media Player Classic Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to installing my blu-ray player yet. (lazy) So, I can't confirm that it actually will play blu-ray discs. Win7x64 |
