I ran into a guy I used to go to high school with today when I was buying me and my wife coffee this morning.
He was, at one time a gang member and him and his friends used to kick my ass almost everyday at or after school. We got to talking and he thanked me for never saying anything to anyone as he was on probation for most of his high school life and it would've got him sent away. He's got some fancy computer job now and him and his wife want to smoke and go out for dinner with me and my wife sometime. Even though he's the number 1 reason why I hated high school so much, it made me smile that he was able to man up to his mistakes and get his shit together and get his life going, away from gang life through college and marriage.

It was 65 degrees (F) today... in December... in Wisconsin.
Probably means it will be snowing in April but I will take it. |

It is nice to have a simple thread that brings the members together for a few minutes while they read the posts so thanks for playing along peeps.
I got 8 solid hours of sleep last night for the first time in forever and the weather lady says it is going to be warm all week so life is good. People think us hearty Canadians are nuts when we start shedding coats as the temp goes into the +'s ...  |

Got a co-worker to cover a shift for me Christmas Eve so I can travel. He's local, so he has no travel considerations for the holidays.
