Could be corrupt so try to repair the archive perhaps? It's a built in winrar feature but I forget how it works because I haven't done it in ages. I'm sure you can find it through a search though.

Thanks for help, but before I do that I really think its what I'm doing is worng - can anyone provide a step by step process - I'm trying to use 7zip - how to I take 2 RAR files and join their contents..?

Please advise how should I do?
Split large files into zip or rar format? And is it worth adding recovery information? Do I need to create an uninterrupted archive if I put 1 large file in it? Sorry for my English

repair corrupted file with WinRar

 or use use shortcut ALT+R As for compression/ splitting files the Rar format is my preferred choice |

i just use the newest winrar and choose "keep broken files"
