Help! Locked out of both of my emails

Yesterday I switched from DSL to a Fiber router.

I had some issues with my ISP and found out that I could not access either of my email accounts at gmail and yahoo.

It would seem that because I have a new deive that I connect to the internet with they do not recognize me and asked for conformation.

So my gmail account sent my yahoo account a verifation number and yahoo did the same thing. And there is my promblem with recovery. Do any of you have any actionable advice?

Some newer DSL modems have wifi together with CAT5 connections, but the older DSL modems just provide an internet connection. Fiber modems/routers connect to a wifi hub. You have not indicated what type of DSL modem you had. If you simply connected to the wifi or CAT5 cable to your fiber internet and you did not delete your browser's saved logins then try connecting to a different port. There are usually 3 ports for a fiber connection. All 3 will give you access to the internet. However one is designated for your TV, one is for your landline/phone and the third is for your computer or laptop. Only the port for your computer or laptop will recognize your browser's saved logins. If your fiber's wifi device is functioning properly then you should simply connect to the internet and everything should work properly. Sometimes this wifi device does not work properly so you need to convince your ISP that it is defective.

I'm not sure about Yahoo but with Google you have an account. If you set your browser to Google.com and you can login to your Google account they have a few options for you to be able to regain access to Gmail but you will have to answer various security questions if you can't access your recovery email. With Google you can also add your cell phone number or your landline number if it is enabled to receive texts to regain access to your Gmail.
