Photo editing Software?
I'm currently using Picasa and MS paint but I need more features specifically where I could cut a part of an image and paste it on another. Paint has this option but it's impossible to cut a face, heir part or whole body itself.

I'll show an example of what I'm trying to achieve. I wanted to cut the model only and put her on some other background. Any ware that could auto select the part of the canvas according to what I want that would do the trick. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Oh! I forgot to mention, since I'm making album covers, I'll also want advance text inserting options, Picasa does a good job but only problems with it are 1) limited fonts 2) No 3d effect. Thanks Edit:I can't use Photoshop cuz I don't know how to and I don't have the RAM to run it either. |

i'd recommend photoshop. i've been using it for 15 years and still learn new stuff.
it might be a bit of learning curve from picasa and paint, but its so much more powerful, and there are plenty of tutorials and videos to help out edit - sorry i just noticed you said you can't use photoshop! how about an older version?

Download Paint.net or gimp if you want something installed on your PC for offline use.
Use the magic wand tool to cut out the model from the rest of the image. Sometimes, I use this online editor. You can try it if you want. Code:

Before I can consider it, may I know how much physical memory it takes and what is the size of the latest version? |

As is said I will try GIMP, just need to know is it simple? and this magic wand tool, how accurate is it? To be able to catch every single falling heir it needs to be scan with precision.

It is possible to make an accurate selection using the magic wand tool but you must adjust the settings to suit your needs and you need to spend some time on it. There are several tutorials online on how to use it. Read them.

There is another good option: a free online applications that needs no download and incorporates many of Photoshop's features.
Try it: pixlr.
