I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say...
that those "I'm not a robot" captchas are the worst thing in the history of the universe. Who's the sick fucker who came up with this terrible gimmick?

I agree, Sir!
The new one with 8 photos and you have to pick the ones with storefront or with trees or mountains, etc etc. The worse one is when it gives you one single big photo of a street image and you have to click all the squares containing street signs. I've been known to click everyone of them and it will still tells me I am wrong and then it gives me another big photo with more street signs. One time I probably went through 4 of them before it gave me the download link. Then there is another big single photo with again, street sign or street signs in it and you are supposed to drag your mouse pointer around the signs to highlight the whole thing and I can't never get it to work. All I ever been able to do with my mouse is a straight line. Then there are the ones with abstract multi color letters to form a word and it's so crazy looking, you can't even make out the letters. Just a big jumble mess of lines and colors and you keep refreshing for a new captcha over and over dozen of times and still can't find one that's legible. |

If time travel were real, and I had access to a time machine, do you know what I would do? Right some great wrong? Stop an assassination? Stop Hitler's rise to power? Nope, none of the above. I would go back in time and murder the fucker(s) who invented captcha - murder them in the most brutal, heinous, prolonged fashion that can be devised. Even Caligula would be nauseated by the sheer viciousness of it all. That is what I would do with a time machine.

While you are at it, please murder the person who invented SPAM.
I am getting about 100 SPAM each day from the same company and there is no way to stop it. You can't UNSUBSCRIBE because there is no RECIPIENT ADDRESS in the TO part. So how did it get into my email with the TO part left EMPTY? |

On my hotmail I always report it as junk. But I still get 2-3 a day!
Gmail is much better at sorting out the spam before it hits my inbox. |

Nah, why go through all that, go back to the time when the guy who invented CAPTCHA's parents were fucking to produce him and interrupt them.

Try reading Stephen Fry's Making History where they used time travel to dose Hitler's father with a permanent male contraceptive thus preventing Adolf from being born. Things didn't quite turn out as they hoped they would. |
