what do you reckon has brought about revolutionary changes in the porn industry? Like, for instance, the internet, completely reshaped how things operate in porn. Or, you know, I'm betting that AI is gonna be a game-changer. What other stuff do you think has already made a big impact or is gonna shake things up in the porn industry?

HD - I'm nostalgic to 480p/4:3 stuff, but 1080p widescreen just took everything to the next level

Social Media - This made it so much easier for traditional studios to find girls for porn. Also made it much easier for cam studios to find girls

Onlyfans - Opened the door for so many more women to do porn. Now they dont need to sign with a studio and travel somewhere etc. They can just turn on their phone and record themselves, or themselves with their boyfriend.

I'm not not really old enough to know for sure but seems like it started coming around in the late 90's and everything before that was mostly bad movies with sex in it.

Now it seems we're seeing less and less of those full-length movies with a story.

As for the future, I imagine improvements in AI and VR technology will lead to the next big thing or wave.

As someone who has never tried VR porn, is it really any good?

I personally don't care for regular POV scenes at all so do you think this would appeal to me at all?

VR porn is good, like, really good, but it have to be min. 6k/60 fps for me. Otherwise the poor video quality totally ruins the immersion and in that case might as well stick to the old fashioned flat screen content.

I have a Quest 3 since Christmas, and I've been a daily user of it.
Not only for just Porn, but also for games, experiences and even movies projected on a gigantic IMAX screen (which I prefer over my TV, as I like to get immersed in my favorite movies without any distractions).

I think with VR, you get a much more wide choice of content VS traditional Porn.
You want MILFs, Teens, Gay or Trans? You have them.
The few demo clips I saw on DeoVR definitely left me speechless.
Being able to have your favorite actress/game/movie character in your room (with Passthrough mode activated) is as close as you can have to the real thing.

And that also goes for anything else VR.
It's just revolutionary, more so than AI.
And if Hollywood ever decides to shoot a movie entirely in VR (I bet James Cameron would be the first to experiment with the Tech), it's gonna be WILD.

VR has come a long way since 2014.
The immersion it provides is so much better than stereoscopic 3D, where you would always have to sit in front of a TV/monitor.
If you have the chance to try a VR headset, do it.
I'm sure after you tried it, you will see that it's better than anything you tried.

The maximum is 7/8K/60fps.
