Yes, but her boyfriend will be one of many child molesters in his segregation unit where they can all exchange their stories and find a level of mutual support: the inmates will have a wide range of offenders to choose from making it less likely that he will get shanked.

But Mercedes will most likely be the only such offender in her institution, meaning she will probably have to live in solitary confinement.

Sure, but to be charged with anal sex with a 10 year old girl is extremely likely to result in a very bad situation for any offender.

If she is a woman, no one in the joint is going to in any way try to be sympathetic towards her.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure her inmates will wake the devil they have inside, by torturing her, first psychologically, with violent verbal jokes, then physically with any thing they will come in contact with: a fork, a pen, a cup of either boiled water or just plain hot coffee or tea, a piece of glass.....anything they can use/have access to in their break hours, so to speak.
Womens, compared to men, have a much more higher protecting nature towards children, even if they got molested or raped in their lives or they don't even have any kids.
It's in their DNA, much like that of any other female mammal and animal. And when they do feel threatened, or they feel their child is in danger, they attack like lionesses.

It is worth taking into account the fact that her probation officer is unlikely to allow her to have any role (including off-screen) in the adult entertainment industry.
