I'm sitting here on one of my iMacs. It;s a 2009 3 GHz Core 2 Duo. I have a 200 Mbps internet connection from Time Warner, a Docsys 3.0 modem and it's hard wired via Ethernet to the latest Apple router.. In another words, I have about as fast a connection as you can get for a residence.

When I run speedof.me, it's telling me my current download speed is 70 Mbps. When I run speedtest.net, it's saying 184 Mbps.

WTF?

And to be weirder, speedof.me on my iPhone 6 via wireless says 114 Mbps download speed.

Scratching my head.

I Just tested my speed using both services: the results are not the same, but similar: 6.91Mbps on Speedof,and 6.37 on Speedtest.
