Why are so many sex scenes silent?

I've watched porn 19 years and so I've become a semi critic of the porn these days. With the advent of free video streaming sites it means people can watch a lot of porn.

When I'm looking for a good porn scene one of the biggest turn offs is when the 2 (or more) people arent making any noise. Or alternatively they, mostly the women, are making over the top sex noises, which sounds fake to me.

I am a fan of dirty talking in sex scenes, especially amatuer scenes. But it seems hardly anyone talks!

So does anyone else recommend any good dirty talking sex scenes? and what are other peoples opinions on talking in a sex scene?

Yeah dirty talk can go a long way to making a scene great. I love it in creampie scene when she begs/asks/entices the guy to cum in her. "Fill me up with you cum." "Cum deep in my pussy." "I wanna feel your load inside me..." etc.

Part of it might very well might be they don't want to limit their porn to one market.

Think about it- if it's english dirty talk, you'd get it and it might be hot. But if it's some starlet yelling "fuck my ass" in Portuguese, it might not have the same allure. So rather than having to dub over the flick like some bad 1970's kung-fu flick (where the mouth moves one way and different words roll out), they probably want to keep the performers to the universal grunts, groans and moans. They probably just want to let the fucking do the talking any way.

And don't get me wrong, I absolutely dig some good dirty talk as well- but from a marketer's POV, keeping the actors silent might have some benefits.

I actually love hearing girls in porn talking in their first language. Even if I don't understand what is being said I think it's sexy as hell hearing (what I have to assume is) dirty talk from them no matter what language it's in.

I don't mind it. I guess it's when dirty talk becomes a little bit more of a dialogue in a different language that makes it difficult to comprehend. For all we know they're sharing the shopping list for groceries that evening but one can still infer from the grunts that it's probably something pretty kinky.

But again, my thought on the lack of dialogue between the actors is purely based upon speculation and from a marketing POV.
