Zippyshare Issues (dead host)

What sad news!!
They should have opened a premium, low-cost subscription plan to help with company expenses.

The other paid servers must be happy with this news.

Uploaders too (which upload files to filejoker, keep2share, fboom, rapidgator, tezfiles, filefox, filefactory)

It will be very difficult to download files for free now.

It was one of the few remaining "free uploader" (as opposed to "free downloader") sites, and usually provided fast downloads. And multiple downloads at once for free users. The biggest complaint was that some European countries blocked it.
It's been a while since an uploader affected any of my posts. Rapidshare and Megaupload both shut down quite a long time ago wiping out most of my old posts. This zippyshare shutdown will do the same thing again for most of my posts over the past years. Uploading to a new filehoster may be more trouble than it's worth.

With respect, it was Zippy itself that blocked usage in certain countires, inc UK where I am based.

"In March 2019, access to Zippyshare was blocked for visitors in the United Kingdom, with a HTTP 403 error message displayed. No reason was given for the block, and it is unclear why Zippyshare decided to block users from the UK.[2] Zippyshare became similarly unavailable in Germany in April 2019[5] and in Spain in June 2019, also with no explanation."

100% agree... Is there another free alternative? I can only think of google drive as an alternative that's equally fast and free.

Gofile a lot of files get deleted in a week max

Shame. Zippy was one of the few places where you could download multiple files without the wait time. I am in the UK< but got around our being cut off by using Opera's VPN.
