Hi guys,

Just wondering if anything can be done about PlanetSuzys VB bug. The one that can abbreviate posts and PMs if you put in symbols other than the letters A to Z and certain punctuation such as apostrophes.

I still get caught out even though Im very much aware of it. It would be really nice to get it fixed.

mod note: certain non-english symbols and characters will end messages; do not use accent marks (instead of apostrophes), dashes, currency or russian letters. if you find a post or message is missing text, delete the first missing character, the rest should re-appear.

I sent Koz 2 PMs last week and only half got sent even tho' the preview looked fine. Luckily he didn't get the second half....

I note that when you click the "Break Friendship" button, the de-friended friend does not get informed.

I know this b/c I received a friendship request from a certain friend and I didn't even know s/he had de-friended me!

It would be nice to have it fixed, but since it's been there forever I'm not holding my breath waiting for it. On all my posts, just before submitting them I click ctl-A (to highlight everything in the message box), then ctl-C (to copy it). Then I submit it and check to see if it all got put in the post. If not, I quickly edit the post, then re-paste everything back in. It almost always works the second time, but if not I then edit out the offending character(s).

Oddly enough, I've never had this problem over at VEF with the same posts, so their setup with vBulletin works better than ours.
