That's likely because no one cares about them. For all of Warf's bluster about honor, Klingons are largely duplicitous. And don't get me started on those Romulans.

Doing a show with those folks as main characters would be like doing a show all with Cardasians who don't do anything.

Well, I always wanted to find out how the Klingons and the Federation first met and what turned them into enemies.

Same with the Romulans and the Federation.

You'd think the Federation is composed of people from Earth who first started doing warp travel and are out there exploring strange new planets for the good of science, I would assume they would try to be friends with every race their encounter like the Klingons and the Romulans.

They skimmed on it with a couple of short flashbacks.

I want to see what Seven of Nine did between the time she became a Borg and the time her collective came across the Voyager.

She was a part of the collective. The Borg just went around assimilating species. I don't know if one could do a story on just one drone because she wasn't more or special than any of the other Borg at that point... could you??

Again, I'm all for the writers being creative but I don't know if there could be much spun here.
