Online Storage?
The endless porn collection continues to grow. Anyone out there know if there's an adequate online storage solution for this. The key things are: reliability, security (won't delete copyrighted material), reasonable price, speed, easy-to-use interface.
Basically, what do you use and why and how? Thanks |

Well there is no filehosting site which will store your file for life even if they advertise it. and since you will be using porn you are gonna get dmca reports which will lead to file deletion! if you dont share the links then you will be fine!

I only want to store the collection for backup not share. So, based on what I think you're saying, file sharing is how the dmca reports occur and file deletion begins. The filehosting site doesn't somehow check the files I store for privacy?
Just want to be sure. A lot of time/work put into this. Thanks. |

Other option may be Google Drive. It is a fairly new service so better off to check its TOS and fees before any action.

Use Rapidshare
Or if you can afford it, buy some 200-250 2 TB Hard Drive Storage Units

Dropbox Google Drive iCloud (Apple) SkyDrive (Microsoft) Ubuntu One However, as you mentioned that reliability and security are key features for you, I wouldn't recommend that you use a Cloud service provider at all. You should buy a NAS unit instead and keep all your files at home where Uncle Sam or hackers can't threaten them. |

I wouldn't trust any cloud service or online storage(even you paid for them),why not just buy some portable hdd? That's how I did to store some of my favorite porn scenes.(Sadly or not, my favorite porn stars are retired, so there are no more new scenes!)

Skydrive used to be my favorite place to both store and share a bunch of my Porn Collection with others. However, Microsoft recently announced a change in their rules and regulations regarding "Depictions of nudity", etc.
In other words, they will no longer allow you to upload porn to your Skydrive account, and they can close your account at their own discretion. I couldn't risk losing my Microsoft accounts (Xbox Live, MSN E-mail, etc.) so I removed all of my content there and have it at Dropbox. I personally recommend Dropbox, and would like to share my collection with anyone interested. Contact me here at the forum and I'll send you a referral link. Use that link to create an account and install the software. I'll get a 500 MB referral allowing me to put even more content up. Then once I have your e-mail (which will be provided to me by Dropbox once you've successfully registered), I'll share my porn folders with you. Also, do not delete any files I have there. I'll will take the content down myself periodically, putting up other content to take it's place. The only thing keeping me from having more (currently 6.88 GB of storage) scenes up is my lack of storage space. If even 10 people signed up, I'd gain another 5 GB (500 MB per person) of storage space. With Skydrive I had 25 GB of space. I've been trying to sign up for another Skydrive account (which will give me 7 GB of space for free) to put porn up there and see what actions they take- if they close the account, send me a notice to remove the content, etc. For now though I'm settling using Dropbox. |

Between the DMCA/SOPA/PIPA and Big Brother trying to "sanitize" the internet, and major file hosts, like Wupload and Filesonic who tried to redefine themselves as online storage hosts only to have now completely disappeared, I wouldn't give a plug nickel for any online storage site.
Save some money and get a portable HD, especially with prices steadily dropping. With the holiday season upon our doorstep, you're bound to find bargains abound. That's what I did, and I couldn't be happier. Lucked out at BestBuy, and got a 320Gb Western Digital HD for $48. |
