Nanci Blue (1980) - De-noised AVI version
I found the above MPEG on ed2k and I liked the look of the film.
However, the VHS tape it was ripped from looks like it was very, very old so there is a lot of tape noise. If you've seen the MPEG, you'll know what I mean. So here is a compressed version of Nanci Blue with a noise filter run over it. Of course, as you remove the noise you sacrifice just a little bit of the original picture sharpness that is hiding under the noise. I can imagine that some might prefer the original noisy version but I find the de-noised version provides a more satisfying viewing experience. But, don't take my word for it. Check out the caps and the preview and decide for yourself. Much thanks to Mac for providing the original post. This is a very rare film and it will be difficult to locate a better copy. But we can always hope!
