i have horrid hearing...i now find. so many lines in the typical TV show i can't catch; now i watch everything with subtitles turned on...when available. if they're not, i at least try to find "script" files to skim thru afterwards.

but they don't always exist either. in such cases, i am sometimes agonizing for YEARS over some dumb line which someone else can get on the first pass. plus there's similar cases for things found in podcasts, on the radio, etc etc.

to that end, i'l like to start a thread for people to weigh in with opinions! i.e. "what is being said here?"

i've done this occasionally in other threads, but it's really been scattershot. i'll try to keep them corralled together from now on.

"era of Logan," but once again, I am unfamiliar with the character.

Upon further research, Logan is a character in the X-Men series which reportedly has a number of similar characteristics to Picard.

yes, thank u!

i didn't wanna say it (and taint opinions here) but there's a copy of her singing at some OTHER venue which has subtitles reading exactly that! (passive peter)

since the rest of the titles are reasonable, i do not think they were autogenerated. that is, some HUMAN -- presumably on her end -- thinks it's "passive peter" indeed!!

i've listened to 4-5 OTHER copies of her singing it now as well (various TV shows, etc), and to a one, they do indeed all sound like "passive peter".

i have googled it to death, and there seems to be no such thing associated with her, with the song, or with christianity (which she oft sings about). or much of ANYTHING (filipino cartoon, say)

fwiw, some lyrics sites list it as "Has if Peter". makes even LESS sense!

"era of Logan"

hello! thank u again. that's what i get.

there is no logan in the show. nor is there a loki or a lorraine or anyone close.

there is a SOJI, main char after picard. and a NAREK and RIOS and a DR JURATI, none of which sound like "logan".
