Download from certain websites ?
Hello
There are a couple of adult websites that I would like to subscribe to. But I have heard that they no longer allow downloads. As I like to watch what I have paid for when I like, is there a program that I can use to download the file as it streams - in the same quality?

My first site would be Tr!k3 P@tr0l.
I have read reports that they no longer allow downloads I am not sure what formats they use, either mp4, wmv or flv I think. I do not want to join them, If I cannot download their movies. I am using NetVideoHunter to download movies from Youtube.

Can't say that it's guaranteed to work, but video downloader ultimate works for me on every site I've been on. Used to be a chrome extension, but kicked off as it's essentially a piracy tool. I haven't ever used the free version, so don't know how it stacks up.

Digimen
This site hxxp://rabbitsreviews.com/s3600/Trike-Patrol.html tells you it's Flash vid up to 1080. Yep, you're right, no downloads. I'd give it a miss!

Internet Download Manager can download streaming video if the video stream is not encrypted. A 30-day trial version is available for download at internetdownloadmanager.com

I have just tried Video Downloader Ultimate on Tr!e P@trol and it does not find any of their videos (well only 2 short trailers). Nor does NetVideoHunter
I am very annoyed with my sub to Tr!ke P@trol as they say I am not allowed to copy or download their videos. Any workarounds ?

Basic idea of video streaming is to download the files to a cache on your computer, so you automatically "download" anyway when you watch a stream.
If this happens without encryption you are fine and can just use the cached files, in regard of encrypted data there are 2 obvious solutions: 1. Use a program that understands the encryption 2. Record your screen. 2 is clear and can be done with many programs, but is tiresome. 1 depends on several factors. The fast answer is to use several "recording programs that handle different types of encryption or use different types of recording". Audials is known to handle all kind of types (Hulu, netflix etc.). Try that one on preview videos of the websites you wish to subscribe to ( previews use the same encryption as the "full" movies). If this still doesn't work dig into chinese recording software, they have to handle even worse stuff than here.

Thanks for some great replies.
I have just tried "GetFlv". It seems to do what I want. But it has a very confusing and complicated user interface. They have a 30 day trial version - fair enough. But then the trial only lets you download 2 minutes of a video! And some reviewers report lots of bugs and problems Finally it is very expensive.

I use Replay Media Catcher 6 (not free), and works for most sites. As noted above, depending on the security type
