i second alexora: 4K.

i have many many many many posts here -- in multiple threads -- about my ongoing woes with YTD (youtube downloader) and other such apps. at times i have tried JDownloader and everything else under the sun.

it was not until yesterday that i noticed "4K downloader" popping up top of everyone's "best" lists (YTD not even in the top 20 anymore...), so i gave it a try. OMG! it does EVERYTHING i was complaining about...and more!!

i am a demanding user, trying to DL channels of playlists and sub-playlists and things which sometimes are restricted and need to be skipped, etc etc. test runs i've been doing since yesterday show it handled all this SPECTACULARLY -- DLing all sorts of stuff batch loaded and sorting it out to various folders on the fly. i am beyond pleased.

one or two little things:

1) DL order is erratic. for me, anyway. a playlist of 10 vids will DL in order 1 2 4 3 5 6 8 7 9 10, say. wissupwiddat?

i was about to start another thread on this, but if alexora or anyone has a quick answer, i can just get it over with here.

2) freebie version is limited to 10 vids at a time. well, not even "at a time", more like "at a paste" -- u cud load 10 vids, load 10 more, load 10 more, then let 'er rip on all 30.

what u CANNOT do, however, is load a playlist with 15 things in it, like my previous example. much less multiple playlists and channels all linked together, like my prior example.

u have to either upgrade, or...well, u know.... (rhymes with smack)

once done, tho, this thing is a GOLDMINE!

Jaksta Media Recorder is what i use. No issues with it so far.
