I'd go so far as to say Solidfiles is the easiest filehost to use of all. There's no capcha code to solve you simply double click on the correct download button.

I appreciate your help. I double click on MY OWN links and get these horrific looking pop ups. Update Java, Flash out of date...I keep things up to date religiously on my rig so I know it's bunk. After double clicking 3 or 4 times the download link FINALLY starts. I guess that's better than nothing but I'm going to steer clear of using in the future. The trust is gone

I've been trying to download two 500MB files for over a day now. They just stop for no reason, like they're complete, but they're not even half done. A couple only lasted for 8mb. I know it's not on my end because dep0sitfiles, fb00m, k2s etc all work fine. This is the worst host I've encountered yet. I'm glad there's only a few hosts using it.

The new format sucks balls. It's a damn good thing that this was the disposable filehost I use for posting the not really important crap on. I'll give them a suitable amount of time to try to get their shit together a little bit and then stuff starts getting trashed and deleted.

I completely understand them going from free to paid, but they went to the Dark Side pretty damn quickly.

BAD NEWS FOR SOLIDFILES FREE USERS

Important information!

We are making some changes to our file retention policy. We've done everything we can to prevent having to do this, but we've now come to a point where it's necessary due to declining income from advertising. Starting 2017-03-10, we'll be removing files uploaded by guests that haven't been downloaded in 30 days (down from 90 days). Starting 2017-04-01, we'll start removing files that haven't been downloaded for 60 days from free account users, regardless of whether the account itself is active or not. There is no change planned for Premium subscribers. In short, these changes should only really affect those of you who use Solidfiles for long term backup/archival purposes. We recommend upgrading to a Premium account in order to keep your files stored forever.
