A few days ago the OCH Zippyshare was lifted to the heights of a "required host" at PATM.

But there is no thread about this - no place for complaints, crying or any more or less profound opinion.

For me, as a registered user, it works fine. Multiple downloads with lightning speed. Upload without a stop. (max 200 MB any part) No premium and no reward.

But you would hardly find a link so far.

The site looks and behave "beta". Buttons without function, poor stats - refreshed once a day and doubtful.

And I have no idea how the guys pay their bills - no advertisement seen.

What do you know about Zippyshare ? Some infos from the reds welcome.

Zippy's great, and yes it does have advertising, you might have an ad block program.

Zippyshare is great, at least for free users / guests. (is there any premium account there? o_O)
Pretty fast, easy to use, etc.

the only "bad" point is:

MediaFire no longer is an Allowed File Host because we were unable to convince MediaFire to stop blocking direct links from Planetsuzy. Zippyshare replaces MediaFire as a PATM Required Host. Zippyshare is a not-for-profit file host; it is sustained by donations so do not expect the same functionality as for-profit file hosts.

Yes, as a free downloader I am loving Zippy Share.

No annoying captchas! quick downloads (most ies)

I am seeing a few of my fave's videos on them lately.

I might upload a few filesto them.

Only downside is the 200meg file size limit.

This is not strictly a Zippyshare problem but

Has JDownloader stopped working with Zippy?

It worked very well because most videos are divided in part, Jdownloader can download all of them and automatically extract/merge the .rar parts
Now it just sits on "Connecting..."
it doesnt seem to be a problem on my end because my connection works and I can download (through or not through JD) from other filehosts

zippyshare is a really good free host. It's fooking FAST but at a limit of 200mb per file its too small would be a lot better if it was 500mb. It also works with IOS which is rare. Only DF,LS,K2S,Ryushare works on IOS

No PITA captcha codes, or waiting periods, or restrictions on simultaneous downloads... AND its speedy as hell!
