I need an easy tool to cut videos esp. mkv. I have some long mkvs that i want to delete but keep some parts in the middle of it.

I tried bandicut which is good but adds the bandicut logo at the end of the vid (and should add a watermark thogh i don't see one so fa. the Logo itself doesn't even bother me) and vlc (which requires me to keep the record runnning while recording instead of just adding markers).

Is there an easy, free tool?

and maybe a way to add text to different parts of a video with the need to cut it into parts and reconnect those parts
