Downloading well-protected Streaming Videos

I was wondering if anyone knew of a software/extension/trick for downloading streaming videos on a website that are better-protected than the average videos.
I know all the tricks for basic online videos - I have tried several Chrome extensions that work fine (currently VideoDownloadHelper) for most sites and I know how to download youtube videos using 4k Video Downloader.

But some of the commercial porn sites - say g@mel1nk in my particular example - are obviously a lot better protected - for understandable reasons since their bread and butter is to charge additional for downloading content. There is no sign of the source video in the page source and the usual downloader do not work - mine recognizes there is a video, download an entire huge file (so clearly it sees the original video since the size of the file feels right for a movie) but the downloaded file is then unusable.
So I can't help but think some clever porn aficionados may have cracked the protection and found a way around it to download a video started as streaming so that minutes are not used up or actually read the downloaded video recognized by usual download, no? Can't be the only one whose thought this has crossed.

Not "normal" content. ie: you can't pay and download to keep.

It's all rental or VOD from what I can see. So they are likely using some sort of DRM. Hence why you can download the file, but then not play it. I would suspect when you are logged into the site, you are given the key (ie: it's attached to your login info and done behind the scenes) to view whatever you have paid to rent.

Typically, you need a working login and a tool to remove such DRM.

Gotcha. I hadn't thought of that since there was no prompt in the downloaded version. I guess what I do really need to find is a DRM remover that does its thing in a file that is not playable as is

Just use a screen recorder. It's quality isn't as good, but hey, this is internet porn. If you wanted to pay you'd go find yourself an actual woman.

Say um I pay a crazy high $$ and Hotkinkyjo won't let me download her videos. grrrr (and there's a limit on how much I can watch in a day, like yeah I'm not renewing) only way I got around that provided I wasn't wearing the memory down back in the day was Debut which isn't cheap , and then you have to look up how to record the audio off your computer and not the mic... paid $60 for that but since I can always find it again should I ever want to do that. I'd assume something akin to this is how we get Outlander downloaded.. although they might have a hack for it. I really don't know.. That's my trick.

Jaksta Media Recorder has been best for me.
Had some VOD sites that stopped allowing downloads from JMR but its has a DVR function that you can have open and it basically screen records. Would try that
