What program do you use for screenshot/preview collages of videos?

Hello,

I have been using the above program for years to make both screenshots and to capture high quality single pictures shots. Now, more and more, I keep getting the "cannot play back file....the format is not supported" error message.
I guess the program can't handle high quality vids any longer.

Does anyone know of a similar program? I've looked through the various threads here before posting this, but really couldn't find anything.

If you haven't already, I suggest you update to the latest & largest K-Lite Codec Pack.
I use Bulk Image Download for pic collections & Irfanview for screen shots.

My Question is quite simple, but which program can I use to get these screenshot/preview collages everyone who uploads porn movies here uses in their posts to show the contents of the video?
When selecting which video from my hard drive I want to watch it's often quite annoying to randomly scroll through my folder and click through them until I found a good one. Making a collage like these of every one and scrolling through them seems a lot more timesaving and fun because I directly see most of whats going on and can then decide if i want to watch the video or scan the next collage.

For multiple screenshots, not sure if it's possible to do it with VLC, but you have others media players, like Media Player Classic Home Cinema, and a tutorial here.

Or you can use others tools made for taking screenshots, like ImageGrabberII (tutorial here) or Video Thumbnails Maker.
