Various web sites are reporting that Cameron Bay has tested positive for +HIV and the studios have stopped shooting until they can get a handle on the issue. She is going to be retested to make sure it is not a false positive. Its also been reported her bf tested positive as well. He is a crossover talent.

Fuck, not again with this shit. Here's hoping everyone is safe and the whole thing is just a false alarm, or at the very least, that Cameron Bay is the only one infected.

I've said it before (although perhaps not in this particular forum) but crossover stars in straight porn are bad news. The standards for HIV testing are different in gay porn. Every time a crossover star enters the straight porn industry, it's a huge risk.

This is a touchy subject in the porn industry, but I don't believe it's homophobic to be wary of crossover stars.

Huh? Cameron Bay is a (skanky) woman.

At least she hasn't done a lot of scenes, at least as far as I'm aware.

To me it has nothing to do with homophobia, it's a fucking deadly ass disease that will shut down the porn business. These performers need to stay clean no matter what genre of film they plan on being a part of.

Do they use PCR DNA test in Porn?

That should be the best way to test for HIV and it should be an industry standard.

I also think everyone should get those tests (even if you are not a porn star) regularly combined with the Elisa test and several other STD tests (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Genital herpes, HPV, Syphilis and Hepatitis) just to be sure.

I cannot work out why it is not compulsory for gay porn actors to be tested-since all the scenes are anal they are at an even higher risk than regular pornstars-many of whom, only do vaginal & who are tested twice a week.

Let us hope it is a false positive, but even if it is she needs to look at her outside life & take precautions-why would she be with somebody who is at insanely high risk of infection due to the lack of testing & be having unproteced sex with him? Or of course it could have been caught by one of them screwing around with a random person, or bareback escorting.

also as we said in that other thread there is too many girls in that industry now its one of the reasons why that happened. its all porn agents foult because they letting gettho girls like her come to the biz. u cant trust ppl like her. that industry was always about trust. when too many new girls come to the biz there is no trust anymore
