100 Porn Movies You Must See Before You Die

Hi guys!

As you may know, there's a book listing more than one thousand movies that everybody should see before passing away. But that list doesn't include porn movies. It does include movies with real sex scenes, like The Realm of the Senses, for instance. But that's just an erotic movie from the 70s.

Porn business started those years, but it seems critics doesn't count on it. So I want to star a list with a hundred titles that are worthwhile to watch.

This list should include not only must-see films, but also movies that are important because cultural or stylistic reasons. For example, Deep Throat was the first blue movie which could be seen in comercial cinema theatres, or The Adventures of Buttman, which was the first gonzo film.

So I'll start giving 10 titles I think are essential in porn cinema history:

I'll start with a few:

1) Dorcel Airlines - Flight DP 69 (2008) - Some great action from Herve Bodin - also there's a great group scene with Yasmine.

2) Oriental Orgy World 4 (2006) - For me, it's the best of the series, includes Ava Devine and Jade Hsu, a classic!

3) Outnumbered 2 (2003) - Best scene in this is with Karma, Jane Darling and Krystal De Boor - must see scene!

4) Babysitters (2007) - One of DP's best films - we're talkin' Sasha Grey, Teagan Presley and Nautica Thorn just to name a few!

5) Ben Dover's Motorbirds (2009) - hottest scene has to go to Alicia Rhodes, Claudia Rossi and Melissa Black, can't blame the guy for cumming early on Claudia Plus there's that sexy scene with Daisy Rock and Paige Ashley, one of Ben's best movies ever - and he's done a heck of a lot!

I have no idea who director “Luis F. Antonero” is, but the credited producer is one “Dexter Eagle” and that was a pseudonym not for the late Armand Weston as was initially believed but for the ever productive Bill Milling – who also went by the names of “Bill Eagle” and “Philip Drexler” among many others – so I’ll go with that one.

Blonde, busty, mature Jennifer Welles stands as one of the all time cult queens who made an all too brief crossover from soft core titillation to penetrative hardcore, leaving her legion of fans forever hungry for more. Sure, everyone’s familiar with the wall to wall Welles-fest INSIDE JENNIFER WELLES with which she bid her fond farewell. Anyone impressed with that one should definitely check out TEMPTATIONS, a marvelously erotic porn comedy which’ll test your patience for a while if Jen is all you came for but definitely rewards it in the end.

Jake Teague stars as a rich old millionaire trying with John Leslie’s much-needed help to satisfy his voyeuristic cravings with a bevy of true adult fan favorites such as Hope Stockton (the blonde in the first scene with Al “Roger Caine” Levitsky), Vanessa Del Rio (partnered with blonde Rocky Millstone from LITTLE ORPHAN SAMMY) and the incomparable Marlene Willoughby. His wife is Jennifer, an ex-showgirl stifled by this sexless marriage until she finds video footage of her husband’s escapades. This reawakens her sensuality and her love for her husband, an aspect too few adult films dwell upon but which this one takes surprisingly seriously. Welles has an explosive number with Leslie, followed by a very artsy three-way shot in extreme close-ups (similar to the Teri Hall/Zebedy Colt scene from Gerard Damiano’s STORY OF JOANNA) to obscure her identity.

It all ends in a very ’70s orgy with lots of very enthusiastic participants including the splendid Gloria Leonard who shares a few Sapphic moments with our leading lady. Production is polished, the story cute but there’s no eclipsing the long gone Ms Welles, as radiantly lovely here as she has ever appeared before the cameras. Oh Jennifer, where are you now, my love ?

But I try not to be narrow-minded. Porn cinema have gained some cultural importance since the 70s, and there're different movements and directors who wanted to make porn movies as respectable as the non-porn ones.

During the Golden Age of Porn (until early 80s) this was more evident than now. Nowadays porn is somehow like non-porn cinema: blockbusters, too much comercial stuff and food trash styled movies. Just watch it faster, forget quickly and move to other thing!

But in those early years performers were professional actors and actresses. I think I've read somewhere Ron Jeremy and Robert DeNiro were classmates at an acting school, for instance.

And directors tried their best to deal with the artistic side of the movie. The Mitchell Bros., Radley Metzger, Stephen Sayadian, and others.

Paco Gisbert, a Spanish professional porn reviewer, once said that Mario Salieri is trying hard to achieve his goal: convince scholars of incluiding at least one porn movie among the best films in cinema history.

There are a lot of good ones here, but I'd like to add:

1. Hot Scalding (1989). Despite the presence of Ron Jeremy, one of my favorites.

2. Alice in Wonderland (1976). A genuine porno musical, with original tunes and everything. Kristine DeBelle's in it, so you can watch it then then check her out in Meatballs, The Big Brawl, and her other mainstream work.

a classic parody, I love every scenes with Rocco and Rosa Caracciolo in this film
