Incident On and Off A Mountain Road.

This is he very first episode from Masters of Horror which is a series of short (normally 1hour-ish) movies from horror legends.

This episode/movie is your typical horror slasher which features a woman finding herself in a life or death battle with moonface after getting in a car accident. She draws on the lessons her ex taught her, which we get to see a bit in flashbacks, and her backstory really come together well with whats going on. The design/set imagery used in the property/shack of moonface was very well done and reallly pulls from Texas Chainsaw Massacre in a good way. Horror legend Angus Scrimm makes a funny appearance here which was awesome to see.

A decent film which focuses on the pandemic but it's called Covid-23 in the year 2024 as numerous people try and make sense of the climate they are in. Film was made during the pandemic area, hence why the production of this must been tough while dealing with social distancing guidelines

This was a very touching film, based on a true story about a young Indian boy who ends up lost, away from his family causing him to be labelled an orphan. Due to this an Australian couple have decided to adopt him, where he lives to the present day. Navigating through both worlds, he still longs to reunite with his mother. I believe this sort of thing is still a norm where places like Australia take on an adopt children from third world countries like India. First half of the film, felt more powerful than the last part. This is probably due to the fact that the first half focused on him being a young boy and in India, lost and unable to identify who his mother is and where he is from to the authorities. The 2nd half goes to the present day where he is grown up and settled in Aus.

A time to kill

A powerful legal drama which shows how racisim is applied to a case of where a young black girl was raped. Her father took maters in his own hands and majority of the film is set in the court room about the case on whether he is innocent or guilty.

I watched Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One a few days ago.

I liked Fallout a lot, it was a great mix of action and humor with well done action sequences and a decent plot.

Dead Reckoning p1 is worse in every aspect in my opinion: almost no humor, the plot is just meh (even incoherent sometimes) and the action scenes are just ok. The supporting cast doesn't help either, characters are poorly developed and the acting is just so-so. Also it's way too long, with many unnecessary and tedious conversations.

Hope p2 is better, but it's difficult to save this.

A film i believe is a true story talking about interracial marriage at a time where it was a crime and high amounts of racism. A couple get sentenced for their love and how they overcome their hardship for this to be decriminalised

A film that has caused alot of backlash due to it's themes. A nun that happens to be lesbian ends up being in a affair with a fellow peasant who joins the convent. The film has alot of graphic nudity, not that i have problems with that, but seeing as it's a European made film, you can tell they don't spare the scenes on it and are confident in being bold about it.
