So, how do you manage downloading at the slow speeds and waiting one-two hours between downloads with the free account? Because pretty much everything I like is on k2s on this forum, and downloading round the clock is still pretty slow for my torrent-spoiled self. Any tips?

I start a download and then go do other things. It takes time and yes it's a pain in the ass.

Everything you like is on K2S?

If I see something I want here or on another website that's on a file host I know to be slow like K2S, I always try to search for the same file online to see if it's available on a better file host.

Just do a web search for the title of a video or movie can yield alternate download sites.

I forgot to mention that my connection, while quite fast, is not reliable, and prone to sudden breaks. So I need to keep monitoring file download status if I start downloading anything from k2s in case I need to resume later.

My problem may be that a lot of content I like, I find in the general, non PATM threads. Those general threads don't always have good naming conventions (for example, some threads simply name their files as hot_porn_movie_10201.mp4 or .rar etc), so searching with filenames/possible actor names etc isn't always very useful. Also those threads almost exclusively have k2s links. And I don't want to flood the alternate hosting request threads with constant requests for those links.

Torrents are fantastic for people like me. But the stuff I like isn't on torrents.

Get a card and don't put more than 100 $ on it and get a premium account.

I have 135-145 kb/s today but yesterday i had ~ 50 k as a free user with a link from here (it started at 120 kb/s but dropped at 50kb).

The biggest drawbacks to keep2share IMO, are the hidden fees and limited payment options for anyone considering buying a premium account. The advertised banner price for 30 day premium on their site is $12.95 (a fairly standard price), but they don't tell you about the extra fee until checkout. So if you pay by credit card, the actual price you pay is about 30% higher than the advertised banner price. No other filehost that I know of does this. This is false advertisement, plain and simple.

Another sneaky tactic I have noticed is that 3 day premium is frequently unavailable, and it only has one payment option.

I'm under the impression that the reason k2k has become so ubiquitous on adult forums is that they offer generous payouts to uploaders. But I wonder how long they can keep this up if they continue to lose potential costumers: the internet is littered with one star reviews by users who feel the hidden charges are dishonest, the payment options too limited, and that their customer support is arrogant and unhelpful.

As a business model, it is never a good tactic to make it difficult for people to give you their money. Likewise, it is common business sense to always present the customer with a final price; the last thing you want to do is to lose their trust! This is something that every other filehost in the world seems to have been able to figure out, except for keep2share.

This problem is coming back again & again since the 8th November.

Either they're crap or they do it on purpose.
