I think CM Punk will join in on the "new Corporation" angle once his feud with Heyman is complete.
I'm really digging the slow-pace of this Corporation angle too, it keeps Bryan in the spotlight as the sole hero (for now). The 1998/99 Corporation angle was good but was also too fast and too messy. The Ministry got involved. D-X got involved. Too much going on.

Smackdown was better than usual I guess. It was amusing to watch Big Slow and his "almost crying face" for the most part of the show. He will probably snap on RAW with Mark Henry to help him if he gets jumped by the Shield.
I also laughed out loud when JBL was the one who said "Vintage Orton!" when Randy hit the DDT off the second rope on Miz. Guess Mitchell Cole stopped saying that now that Orton's a heel.

Pity you just can't buy energy or believability in the shop. Curtis Axel should drink five bottles of lucozade before a promo and see what happens. If he doesn't show any energy there then time to fire him. It is great when Big Show is in trouble, the sympathetic angry giant. he does that well. Big Show is still the man. Get the bloody iron clad contract out I agree about the corporation angle not being messy, and it looks to be staying that way. No need for any higher power this time. I'd only be cool with it, if Shane was the higher power, and he pulls his hood down and here comes the money starts playing, and he starts doing his dance. It was me, Dad, it was me all along, Dad. also think CM punk will join the main storyline after the feud with Heyman ends, he has to.. Him and Bryan fighting together, indy fan orgy. It is very unlikely, but I'd like to see a 5v5 match at Survivor Series, including Orton and Bryan. The good guys get the win. Maybe Bryan and CM Punk survive. I'm not sure when Heyman vs CM Punk ends, so that messes up the plan. I'm just wondering what happens at Hell in a Cell, maybe that is Orton vs Bryan agaub, after the first Bryan vs Orton ends in a 'sports entertainment' finish. *ah fuck, I forgot about that Battleground pay per view.* Daniel Bryan getting sprayed I love it, it is simple, and makes you want to see what he will do next. I'm sure some of the pessimists are thinking that Bryan will end 20 consecutive shows on his back, in the river, getting chucked off a cliff, or sprayed. Doom I tell you, doom. shut up, shut the fuck up. |

This week's JBL & Cole show started with Teddy continuing his strike, outside with a megaphone. Interrupting that is Aksana, offering to get back together with Long. Only to help him, business relationship and all. Long said no "hanky panky." I didn't know Long could still get it up! No duel reunion, everything's back to normal. Until Hornswoggle came randomly panicking and running by JBL and Cole. No answers as to why he was being a little puss. The world tour is back to normal, with them in Las Vegas. They reminded that Wrestlemania IX took place there. Jim Ross' first Wrestlemania, Bobby Heenan entering backwards, and Undertaker's cool entrance. They didn't mention the bad of course. Such as Hogan beating Yokozuna in 40 or so seconds. The guys were complaining about "Donny & Marie." Cole in particular, when Renee Young protested, JBL would admit to not liking "Donny & Marie." I assume, Donny & Marie Osmond? Damn middle aged guys tried to be hip, because thanks to Miley Cyrus, twerking is all the rage, regardless of how big your ass is. This is JBL & Cole...twerking. They then ran down a list of guys from Las Vegas, or gimmicks related to Vegas. Rico... Vinnie Vegas... The Godfather... Reno Riggins? The Gambler? They also went to current times, The Ryback's from Las Vegas. It prompted them showing the segment where he owned Josh Matthews! Speaking of that guy, he's seen talking to Kaitlyn. He was asking if he has what it takes to be a male model! However, Matthews got a phone call. Kaitlyn tried to break it to him softly, that he shouldn't be a male model. Matthews' phone call was from Wade Barrett, who has a cat. What's the bad news? Bad News Barrett strikes again! |

I will admit I am liking this corporation 2.0 stable, also don't know if anyone saw this but they had a sign in the crowd calling them that lol. As for the whole Big Show thing, not sure where it's going as I originally figured this was going to be a re-hash of Austin Vs Mcmahon but with Bryan vs Triple H or Orton. My guess would be they are going to stray away from the original format and have Bryan get allies to help him out, or I believe they will do something similar to what they did with Mankind when he got fired and basically threaten Trips and Orton by saying they will walk out, either very interested to see where this goes.

I remember the Gambler! The old WCW Saturday Night Jobber, who actually had a gimmick. Did he ever win a match? Also don't forget that guy Reno who was part of the Natural Born Thrillers stable near the end of WCW.
What's with all the hate for Curtis Axel? I think he's an above average wrestler, tries to show a lot of intensity and emotions, and fits in well with Heyman. Not as a destroyer like Brock, but as a guy who actually NEEDS the guidance and could be destined for great things. |
