What TV Shows Are You Currently Following?

Wrapped up my Samurai Jack (the original series) marathon just yesterday. I'm debating whether to invest in Season 5 - I know it's got higher production values, but I've also heard the resolution is crap, and to be honest the resolution was never quite why I started watching in the first place.

There is a newer version? Is it also the sequel?

I was never really bothered by the low resolution.

To be honest: I never watched it, cause it looked to be too complicated, the story is streched way too far with way too many stories and characters aside....

I've heard that the 8th and final season is ongoing, thus "started" to watch it anyway. I think that I'm just curious who will be victorious.

I've seen season 8 episode 2 via regular TV.
The song at the ending, the lady who sings it and the lyrics, just grabbed me.

I remember hearing about it before it came on TV. The books were supposedly popular with people who had read Tolkien and wanted more. I always thought they sounded annoying and overly long. Thick novels which were thick and long for the sake of being thick and long. (pun) I think there's a real problem with literature in general being inflated.

So I didn't watch the show at first. They were a few seasons in before I reluctantly could be bothered to give it a go. But then I was hooked. lol.

To be honest I still think there's just too many characters in the begining. When some of them dies I'm a little relieved, because then there's one less to keep track of. But I do think it's woth it to watch the whole first season, and then decide if it's of interest.

If I had the possibilities to buy the series, I would.

They came out with a 10-episode season about a year back, as a sort of grand finale to the series. I have a vague idea of what happens in it, which doesn't particularly spur me to watch it ASAP.

(I mean "resolution" as in "how the plot ends", not as in visual quality.)

Just started watching Big Little Lies. Looks very promising. The star cast is mind blowing.

I just finished watching the new season of Black Mirror...awful, just awful. Miley Cyrus episode is like a bad teenager movie... and the others are so bad too. I really liked this show, but this season is terrible.

Big Little Lies is great. Did you start with Season 2? If you are, you should go back and watch Season 1 first.

Season 1. Season 2 not yet available in India.
Looks like I've run out TV shows to watch (at least quality ones). Started watching Seinfeld again.
