Last week I binged watched all 10 episodes of the German TV series Das Boot, based on the 1981 movie but it does not contain the same characters from the fil: it features a different U-Boat crew.

It's a good show and there will be a Season 2 next year.

I just started watching Season 2 of Ófærð (aka Trapped) last night.

Episode 10, the final episode of the season, will be available next Sunday.

It's also being broadcast weekly on BBC, 1-2 episodes each Saturday, but they are still on Episode 2.

Russian Doll

Nadia (Natasha Lyonne) is reliving her 36th birthday over and over again, and she keeps dying! Dark and funny and cynical show, very clearly inspired by Groundhog Day and Edge of Tomorrow (and that's a good thing, because they are great) but with a fresh angle.

The Kominsky Method

Aging small time actor (Michael Douglas) and his friend and agent (Alan Arkin) are two grumpy old men talking about life and death and family. Hilarious.

Kidding

Jim Carrey plays the very very kind host of a childrens tv show, who is struggling with grief in his private life and the harsh reality of a cynical world.

All of them are mini series. Yes I have a soft spot for dark comedy with veteran actors.

I just visited the Leighton Meester page and she is such a cutie but I love her in single parents ... love the whole cast.

I wonder if that old saying still goes "never work with children"? I wonder how many of them will end up in rehab in a few years lol

Started watching Deep Space 9 yesterday, never seen so much as a scene of this show. I just don't know if I have another Star Trek series in me; watched the pilot and next episode and, meh.
