Peyton is only 35 and I can see him being able to successfully play into his 40's like Favre did. The Colts just need to forget about this season and hope that Mannings injuries aren't going to affect him beyond this season. I just hate to wonder what the future will be like for the colts after Manning retires. They are on a 9 season consecutive streak of making the playoffs, where the team with the next best streak is at 3, and now they lose manning for one year and start off the season 0-7... Not looking good.

Not if they want to pay anyone else. The days of having a Joe Montana/Steve Young type caliber first string & second string ended after the salary cap was put in. |

![]() Got the Vikes then the Titans. If we can just get another WR to step up on the other side of Smith we might even have a change at a flex game. It's our D that is screwing everything up.

Every team that has a great receiver always hopes there's another guy who'll step up..few ever do. Even Terrell (sp?) Owens never really brought his game play up until after Jerry Rice went down with his injury when they were both still 49ers. Most 2 receivers are just that...number 2's. Some are just over achieving number 3's. ![]() Vikes you guys will probably beat, but the Titans game depend on which Matt Hasselbeck you get that week. He's mostly done but old guys will still surprise you. Quote:
and if I hear about your Packers one more time, I'm going to fly up to Green Bay and take some bolts out of the team's airplane engines. ![]() My team is doing very well but I don't have to post it in every topic I make. ![]() |

![]() I finally decided to give up and take A.Rodgers a few weeks back. He's been killing it.
Can't believe though that Cam is the only guy I haven't swapped all season though. Very dependable he is ![]() Wish I would've been paying attention though and realized Foster was back. What a monster week for him. |

![]() Your 49er's should do well in the NFC West. As for my local Seahawks, I left my sofa and TV during the second quarter (otherwise I would have dropped into a bored induced coma) and went grocery shopping. It was the greatest grocery trip of my life. I'm thinking that the question, "What would Tim Tebow do?" should be the mantra of all people, great and small, and that Jesus should no longer claim title. Jesus is no longer the answer, nor Allen Iverson. Tebow, who couldn't hit a wide receiver standing two feet in front of him with a beach ball, is the one and true God...I mean, the answer. |

![]() The Giants really do have a thing for beating the Patriots.
![]() They screw another streak for the Patriots and this time I think It was even more impressive. ![]() I just want to say that you can't spell Elite QB without E-L-I. ![]() P.S. I can't belive we got beat by a guy who can't throw the ball and his "donkeys". ![]() |

![]() Did the Bears look that good or did the Lions look that bad? Just glad the Bears are back on top.
My local Seahawks beat the Ravens but nearly gave it all away. The Seabirds are still the most boring team in the NFL. The fans and the deafening Qwest, oops, Century-Link Field are just bored and are forced to entertain themselves, not necessarily excited about the team! I've had the privilege of attending 8 games there in the last decade and it is a beautiful place but this current squad is nothing to get orgasmic about. Jets looked terrible, Falcons gave it away (and their moral as well) and the Chiefs have no idea what kind of team they want to be. |
