Please don't blame Lucas, as he had nothing to do with this trilogy. He had written a treatment story for the films, but Disney in it's infinite wisdom chose to ignore it.

Personally, I have no interest in even seeing it. I read all those recent leaks, and it sounded like a dumpster fire then and based on reviews, sounds like those reshoots didn't help it any.

I read a story a few weeks ago that "they" were not happy with "Skywalker" and that it was re-edited as an attempt to fix the problems. I didn't know if that was fact or not.

That seems to have been confirmed. Reports are early test screening were so disastrous that people were actually trying to walk out.

Don't blame Lucas? Star Wars was his dream. His baby. He couldn't even get anyone to finance the first film. Then when it happened, the results was beyond his wildest dreams. He then said he wanted to make it a 9 films saga. But he stopped at 6 films and let greed overcome his dream and sold it, something he should never had done. Not that he needed the $4 billion when he was already worth almost $3 billion. He should had done episode 7-9 and give the fans, the same fans who made him the wealthy man he is, the final trilogy they deserve and the Skywalker story deserves. Disney can make a good series like The Mandalorian but they can't make a good film? Especially after the negative fallout of The Last Jedi and then the low box office return of Solo, they should had made 110% sure this final Skywalker saga film came out right! I will continue to watch The Mandalorian as long it doesn't start to suck but I will never watch another Disney made Star Wars film ever again, I don't care what it is about.

That is the spoiler that seems to be wrong. That's the one after I read the summary that was obviously missing. Pretty certain that is wrong. Or at least not as reported. I am wondering if that wasn't changed?

Though that is also the one I want verified before I say anything as false. Is there any truth to that spoiler?
