I agree too, Walt actually cares about Jesse, practically like a son.
God that is so obviously and hinted several times during the series.

He never care about Mike, or Gus , much less Gale at all. He didn't even cared about Jane, he thought she was a bad influence to Jesse deep down, or that would drive Jesse away from him IMO. Although i believe the thing with brook was to cover his own ass then anything else of course.

And he always wanted Jesse at his side and for himself always. What you think he brought Jesse money 2 times to him, and even tried to make him go away to make a new life?! He saved Jesse life a few times now in different ways, by making him to go to rehab, and by killing those gangsters for instance. If he wanted to let Jesse go he would have done it along time ago, when Gus though as Jesse a liability the first time, and Gus didn't wanted him to work for himself.

Actually i get it, a kid that used to be his failed student, and suddenly Walt as a chance to influence him for the better or according to his will and "fix" him somehow, more like the opportunity to fix his own damaged ego i believe.
Just pretty much like the Meth business is a way to fix his life frustrations of his career and feed is ego, probably Jesse is one more reflection of this, in order for him to fix his life frustrations on a personal level as well.

Anyway of course things now are having a falling out, and i have no doubt about it Walt is going down, probably killed by Jesse, but we don't know yet, this show always surprise us.
In a way well deserved it, Walt transformed into a monster, Jesse however seems the only one who is struggling with his conscious.
Jesse to simply put is a good kid, that took bad decisions in life, and had the bad luck to meet a smart manipulative person who work him a lot of times in order to have him around. Jesse could have easily walked away from this life long time ago several times now, with Jane, then with brook and his mother. But Walt always pushed him and screwed with his mind. Now the worm turns, the irony of it all to be frank, couldn't be greater, on a lot of levels. Walt is losing everything that matters to him, while having more money and control then ever.

The end to the last episode was class. Nothing worse to deal with than an insane man that knows most of your secrets. Hank might be fucked after the confession and all, but Jesse Is a different story altogether. Been looking forward to the snap and it was no letdown.

really is up there with the best shows that make me sit and wonder what is going to happen next, and then I come up with 100 different scenarios that are all wrong.

Hank is screwed no matter what he does - remains mum or goes to the DEA. And, there really is no reason to go to the DEA at this point since Walt is going to die soon anyway.

This is now a personal matter between him and Walt...not to mention Marie and Skylar - which is a far worse and more heart-breaking turn.

It is interesting to me that they can shift the storyline in such big ways suddenly. It makes me wonder what Gilligan's original story was. I got to thinking that it may have been just Walt vs. Hank the whole time - and then things changed when Jesse's character was permanently added.

I make a big deal in my last post about Jesse knowing Walt secret that he is Heisenberg, but it really doesn't matter when I think about it. nothing matters.

Jesse went nuts and started fires. Walt had a gun.. Hank was somewhere thinking how the fuck am I getting out of this mess. holy shit, holy shit.

whoever knows it now will know it, and nobody else will. It is just a matter of how it is going to end now, and I don't have a clue. Great stuff, because 9/10 ( or 8 because I still am not sure about Dexter) I will know exactly how a show will end.
