People have a right to keep their status private and you don't have a right to know. Even we did this would people then continue to bareback non-tattoed people? cause there will always be crazy people, not just the guy who knows he's positive and still barebacking others but there are also bug chasers who want to get it and how long would it be before they got their tat?

Most STIs probably just come from carelessness & I doubt there are very many people who haven't made a bad decision when it comes to sex but if you Choose to have bareback sex with someone you don't know then that was your choice, it's not like you haven't been sufficiently warned.

Sucks to hear about this. From a personal/selfish point of view i hadn't heard of Cameron Bay before so i'm glad it's not one of my favorites that will be needing to step away from the adult scene... Must be so scary to be diagnosed with it though, at least now you can live for a long time before the effects even starts to show.

I'm surprised reading this thread how people are all placing the blame on different things. I think the simplest way to look at this mini-outbreak is that sometimes things just happen. It's like a car crash or a murder. It doesn't mean the whole world is falling apart it's just an incident that has occurred amongst many insignificant days which were event free. Just because somebody dies in a car crash it doesn't mean you should change the way you drive in the same way that once in a while somebody in the adult industry will get some form of STD. There are hundreds of scenes released daily without any incident and it's good to remember somebody getting infected with HIV isn't the norm within the industry.

Nothing needs to be 'fixed' or 'changed', the job involves having sex with hundreds of other people. It's simple statistics that sometimes people will get an STD. It sucks but it's the nature of the business. It's no different from athletes getting injured. It doesn't mean the sport isn't safe it's just something that comes with the territory.

I just was wondering about all of this. Like was it deliberate or are people just being unsafe and then carrying that into their work on commercial mainstream porn companies, which are mainly the ones who would shut down anyway if reports like this come out. Meanwhile the indie porno companies are not part of the industry like that, I don't think. I'm kinda like "come on wear your jimmies" but I guess you guys have good points too. Cameron Bay is unattractive though, my God! I like how the last one was confirmed "by the dude's (meaning porn star) word". Mmkay.

That AVN quote is interesting. That's why I posted what I posted above. It just seems deliberate but on whose part? The industry's or Weinstein's?
