Something to remember on the salary cap, there are multiple ways to "make space" under the cap if teams really want to. They can rework one or more players with high base salaries with new contracts with a low base salary and a higher signing bonus that is paid up front and then spread out over the following years. The players like this because they get more money up front. The team likes it because it lowers the cap hit in the current year so they can sign other players. The down side is it raises the cap hit for that player in the following year as that bonus is spread out. They can also cut higher base salary players that are no longer playing up to their salary level provided that enough of their original signing bonus has come off of the books that the cap cost to cut them will be lower than the cap cost to keep them. "Capology" has become its own science with all of the arcane rules that the owners and players union have placed in the CBA's. ![]()

![]() NYG also cut RB Bradshaw
Also we (Rams) have claimed Titus Young, not sure why we did that tbh, i admit we need a STUD WR, but i dont think he fits, we have to many 2-3 type guys |

Now he's got Cortland Finnegan(again), Janoris Jenkins and Titus Young to keep an eye on. At least Finnegan is only a troublemaker on the field and it only costs his team once in awhile. As long as he keeps his cool, he's fine. The WR gets under his skin and watch out, flag city. ![]()

If they had won the game there wouldn't have been any controversy but since they didn't.... I'll bet somewhere deep down inside of Shanny there was a huge fear of backlash if he did pull him out earlier and that is because of what happened when he pulled McNabb out of the Detroit game the year before. |

![]() yea but we have Amendola, Givens, Pettis, Gibson, i dont think Young should be ahead of them, we have a young WR group, before Amendola got hurt he was playing very well

![]() ![]() Here's his chance to show everyone that he was right. Of course, if he doesn't, it'll be the QB or coaches' faults. It'll never be his fault.

![]() Gregg Williams returns to the Titans as a senior defensive assistant??W...T...FOOK?
I know he helped them to them S.B. in 2000 but I was glad he left in 2001. |
