TNAHeadlines.com - Breaking TNA News, Spoilers, Photos & More!
Entertainment industry publication Variety is reporting that TNA Wrestling is set to announce on Monday that it's flagship TNA iMPACT! show is moving to Monday nights starting March 8th. According to Variety.com, iMPACT! will air head-to-head with WWE RAW for 2 hours, from 9-11 p.m. (Eastern time) and will be live every other week. "We've always wanted to go on Monday nights," said TNA president Dixie Carter. "That's where the wrestling viewing audience is accustomed to being." Eric Bischoff calls iMPACT! moving to Monday nights "a little bit of history repeating itself. Bischoff said, "This is a great opportunity for TNA to step up and get noticed and showcase their product. I've said since the moment I started talking to Dixie, in my opinion we should go head-to-head with 'Monday Night Raw.' To me, it's a battlefield -- and to win the battle, you have to be on the battlefield." When asked to comment on WWE's new competition on Monday nights, WWE spokesman Robert Zimmerman said, "We're not too concerned. We're in good shape." |

ECW General Manager Tiffany appears nude in Playboy's latest special lingerie issue under her real name, Taryn Terrell.
Terrell, who has posed for the publication in the past, did indeed partake in an all new shoot. Additionally, she briefly touched upon her burgeoning wrestling career with the magazine. "Since you last saw me: I competed for a spot as a WWE Diva and ended up signing a developmental contract with them. I am now with Extreme Championship Wrestling, a division of the WWE, where I'm the general manager," Terrell. "I'm passionate about: Raising money for abused and abandoned children. Fun fact: I'm a vegan and choose not to eat anything with a face." |

Vince is a businessman at the end of the day and he know what he needs to do to pull in th ebiggest audiences and bring the epic moments...bret simply cannot wrestle now due to his health - he cannot take the hits - the liabilty issue is far too great a risk especially following from the own hart thing...
it will be Cena bret vs batista vince, whoever wins is irrelevant though i think it will be cena = the bottomw line to this whole agenda is the bret hart WILL put that sharpshoot on he will lock it like he never has n vince will cry like a baby n tap ....n there is bret final curtain, the end to all ends... |

I'm wondering if they are ever gonna bring back a true General Manager to Raw. This guest host thing is really getting old, it was alright at first. Any opinions on when we could see a GM and who it might be?

major_blood, thanks for sharing the good news on Tiffany. She's no Maryse, but she's far from an eye-sore, so looking forward to seeing those pics.

I think it could work if they did it better, but a lot of the people that they're bringing in are obviously not fans (mis-pronouncing names, calling it "Summer Fest", etc). HA HA HA! Good one. Really, though, isn't watching a limo get crashed entertaining almost every time?!? And I'm not sure what people's stance is on ~spoilers~ so I won't give specifics, but the TNA spoilers that I saw have at least two head-scratching moments (but one really swank one, IMHO) and the WWE NXT wrestler list that I saw, and what the plans are for it, is pretty cool. I went from being very down on the idea to kind of gung-ho for it. |

Damn, I did it again ... came & posted responses to what you guys said, rather than what I had originally came to post:
First, a tag match from Wrestlemania 9: Steiner Brothers vs. Headshrinkers. A good but far from great match with a botched ending, but it's cool to watch purely for the fact that it opens with "Big Poppa Pump" vs. "Rikishi", years before the guys took on those names/gimmicks. I can't figure out which guy changed his look more. Steiners vs. Headshrinkers, WM9 134.52 MB Next is a whole video, but it's only an hour ... Lita: It Just Feels Right. (Hey, don't judge me, my girlfriend originally wanted to watch it and I just happened to really enjoy it!) The parts of her talking are kinda dull, but they show classic footage of her, Stephanie McMahon, Ivory, Trish ... lots of attractive woman that could wrestle (well, Steph was kind of 'meh' but the others were all good). Plus, there are in-ring appearances by HHH, the Rock, & Angle, which reminded me of how much better the divas were treated back then. Lita: It Just Feels Right 700.43 MB |

uring tonight's final ECW broadcast, the complete cast for the NXT program debuting next Tuesday was revealed. WWE announced the following Superstars ("WWE Pros") and developmental talent ("NXT Rookies") for the show:
1. Chris Jericho will mentor Wade Barrett. 2. Matt Hardy will mentor Justin Gabriel 3. MVP will mentor Skip Sheffield. 4. Carlito will mentor Michael Tarver. 5. The Miz will mentor Daniel Bryan (a/k/a Bryan Danielson). 6. Christian will mentor Heath Slater. 7. CM Punk will mentor Darren Young. 8. R-Truth will mentor David Otunga. Nothing Against the Miz and MVP, but how long exactly have they been wrestling compared to the others? |

I hope it's just to give a reason for a first feud for Bryan. Maybe something like Bryan keeps correcting Miz or doing things better than him, and Miz finally challenges him to a match. Same for MVP: I'm hoping his rookie partner goes heel on him at some point, for an excuse for his first feud. (Similarly with Punk ... I'm hoping he's paired with his guy just to recruit him to the SES.) Quote:
Then again, I still have some blatant T&A women's matches, too. Not sure if you've seen the Shelly Martinez (aka Salinas/Ariel) match that I posted in the Indy thread - the match is totally just an excuse to look at her school girl skirt & thong. |
