Sticking with women's matches for now, here's a more recent Mickie James match - vs. Trish Stratus from Wrestlemania 22.

I loved the Mickie/Trish series - the two girls just put on good matches, they gelled together or whatnot. The fact that both were (are) cute didn't hurt, but they actually put on decent matches, too.

We reported several weeks ago that The Undertaker is currently working through a lot of pain, and a new report by F4WOnline.com is confirming that 'Taker is indeed still having several pain issues in the ring. The feeling right now is that The Undertaker will be working a much lighter schedule heading into Wrestlemania 26 as WWE wants to ensure that he can wrestle at his best on the PPV.

There has also been talking of taking the title off the waist of The Undertaker prior to WrestleMania, as WWE management does not think that a title needs to be on the line for an Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels match. The creative team feels that there's enough drawing power in a non-title match between the two veterans, and that the company might be able to draw more with a separate title match on the WrestleMania card.

Here's another one that I didn't know if I should post it here or in the Indy thread ...

It's an IWA-MS match, but it's CM Punk vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. (mask-less) Rey Mysterio ... so, really, it would make sense to post it in either thread, right?

I totally agree with this - Taker/Michaels doesn't need a title, so why not add more sizzle to another match by mixing a title in?

I'm thinking, more like hoping, Edge/Jericho at Mania for the title. Seems kind of like a good idea. I mean, it would make so much sense if they did.

It would be, but I dunno if Edge is 100% healed. I mean, he says he is, but you never know. He could really be 90%. Then again, Cena did well after his surprise return 2 years ago.

Storyline-wise, this is the perfect feud. Fingers crossed for this match!

Original ECW Founder Comments On WWE Shutting It Down

The man responsible for the creation of the original ECW, Tod Gordon, returned to the airwaves of "Your Home Of Wrestling Radio" for an exclusive interview as part of Monday Night Mayhem's eight-year anniversary celebration, and was welcomed back to the program by The Big Mosh, Blade, "The Chairman Of The Board" Todd Vincent, & MNM's originals (Chaz & Pharoh). Tod has not spoken publicly in close to two years, but broke his silence on this special evening with an earth-shattering announcement...one that could change the face of the wrestling industry in the forthcoming months ahead. "You guys been great for eight years. Whether there's a title involved or not, I'm with you - I totally hope for a Jericho/Edge match at Mania. Even if Edge isn't 100%, Jericho is good enough to carry him to a great match.

Adding a title, and Edge taking the Smackdown title from Jericho, and it's too good for words.

In regards to ECW/NXT, I read a thing online today that said it'd be a "reality show" that was scripted - kind of like the UFC's "Ultimate Fighter" show, but with the matches scripted. The other rumor part of that rumor was that the 'stars' of NXT would be Bryan Danielson & Kaval (the former Low Ki) ... and, really, I'm all for that. Here's an FCW match of theirs ... if this is what NXT is going to give us, I'm all for it.
