Yeah, we used to have dates displayed in thanks too over here. I found it rather helpfull in determining what uploads of mine where currently popular. Also, rank colour used to be displayed in the thanks, so you could see if fellow superposters or staffers liked what you posted without having to read each name and remeber them: a thanks from a coloured member is worth more to me than others. I suppose I'm a snob that way...

I remember that. Liked the dates too. But whatever makes it easier to display. What I didn't like was being forced to hit the thanks button before seeing if the post was worth giving thanks over it.

I am glad someone made it mandatory to tell the audience where the file is being hosted. That does help.
