I only just discovered a BBC production for the USA market: Copper.

Judging from the first episode, I will take the time to follow this series: it appears to be inspired by films such as Gangs of New York and TV series such as Ripper Street

On the whole it looks good, so I will be watching all the other episodes.

Downloading S01E01 of "Copper" now. Sounds good.

I failed to mention this before because I watch a lot of documentary-ish shows, but I try to catch "Nova" every week. It's been an interesting year thus far, and I liked how they compiled entire investigative episodes about cases such as the Boston Bombers and the meteor over Russia. The media only tells you so much, and they never get to the heart of anything, so it's cool hearing the whole story.

"Weird or What?" is also cool. It's basically William Shatner being as Shatnery and senile as possible, all the while giving you interesting stories about the supernatural and ancient legends. I think what I like about it most is that it sort of reminds me of "Unsolved Mysteries".

I'm about to see under the dome and I hope it's a good one since I'm a huge stephen king fan.

But the books tend to be bether then the film/tv shows

I don't watch much TV but now it's re-runs of Simpsons, Seinfeld,
and MASH going on. My wife is an even bigger fan than me of Cheers
so we watch those re-runs on weekend mornings.

To be fair, those shows are all awesome. I don't follow anything current either, why do that when there's at least 30 or 40 years worth of quality stuff that's been on TV before. I do watch more recent shows but pretty much only when they end, so I can gauge whether it's worth it and I can at least watch a whole series in a week or two.
