Filesonic used to SUCK but they get decent speeds now that the Sharingmatrix era is over....

WUpload is a primary spam service now because of its promotions. Wherever you look, you will see wupload - many users download from them and servers are overloaded.

Besides, I think that one of the reason why PS allowed use this host is that Wupload is a new filehost and people do not have premiums there. PS is the one of the biggest porn community and is on the top list of the best sites selling premiums - it equals more money for PS. Which is not bad thing, of course - this is just business and I guess servers that maintain PS cost a lot.

This is the first I've heard of Toucanshare. Anyone know how long has it been around? Looks like a host along the lines of MU or mediafire. I'll have to find some links to it to test it out.

I saw The FrostQueen was using it. So I took a look at it. Its a lot like rapid Share was when it first came around. It only offers free accounts for so many downloads of your links. But there arent long wait times between downloads. And once a month, they have wait free weekends. And premium accounts are EXTREMELY inexpensive.

For me the downloads I tried today was TS 220 - 250 vs. Oron 100 -115 as free unregistered user. Uploading speeds I have no clue.

Its toucansharing.
It's been around since about August of last year,
and it is a old RS, MU and MF type place.
Since I can't post any over here,
pop over to Broken and you'll find a bunch.

Good speeds, low wait times and premiums are inexpensive.

I actually like fileserve, I use it to download mkv movies from another site, I'm a free user and I get somewhere around 200 kb/s which is darn good for free use.

As a former mod here though, I understand the penchant for file hosts like this to be abused heavily and increasing the workload for the mod staff.

I haven't seen you here in a while.
I actually thought you were still staff.

I've been using fileserve on a somewhat limited basis, and I've been impressed so far.
It lets me remote my toucan links on a free account.
Decent speeds & the downloads actually complete.

While I continue to use Megaupload/Megaporn & Toucan for most of my stuff.
The double uploads for the bigger videos were getting to be too much of a hassle,
as MU/MP doesn't let a free user remote anything in or out of their site.
