Brad Maddox sucks.. he is ruining Smackdown with his random outbursts. I thought Cole hated Striker but he must hate this guy even more. He was terrible on Raw, the segment he interrupted was already cringe worthy and then he made it worse. Didn't help that the commentary team were taking the piss out of their own company they work for, on air which should be a complete no. If it's shit then we'll decide, we don't have to be told it is and it was. Although Y2Js 'really' was classic but reeked of try and save this segment desperation.

I got another problem with the commentary. They keep referring to the Shield as a pack of ferral dogs or pack of dog mentality or what was it this week, hornets? Probably others as well. WTF? Why can't they say the word gang, is it suddenly a scary word that makes little kids cry? I wouldn't normally pick up on stuff like this but Cole is doing it everyweek. The Shield are a pack of dognets, they'll bite and sting you. They have rabies and will spear sting til your ko'd. Watching the Paul Bearer stuff was cool. I liked the Undertaker and Kane tribute with the urn, although they really didn't need to call Bearer their dad, we all know he isn't, could of just remained as a manager. He's dad to his real kids and what if they were watching Raw, bet that would of pissed them off somewhat. When they die then that is it, the character should be the memory but they shouldn't refer to him as that anymore. The 1991 segment showed him just coming in as a manager, not Takers dad. At least King was saying he was a nice guy every 20 odd minutes which brought things back to reality. Matches wise, obviously Ziggler and Bryan was great and everything else seemed like a squash match and that is rather pathetic. Kane and Punk was ok, but I was sorta falling asleep by that time so wasn't paying too much attention. To me it seems Punk is turning into something his older character would of detested. He was all about respect and now he is attacking people from behind and using cheap tactics, the complete opposite of respect. Also this was awesome: |

As for Maddox, I now got the feeling he was off script in that Highlight Reel segment. As in, he forgot his lines. He does make random comments, making me think he's in his own little world, but the past RAW made him much more incoherent. |

... and here I was thinking all those botches were intentional. I guess just about anyone's better than Lawler in commentary these days and I find his random comments to be mildly amusing sometimes.

to be fair if you think of gang the first thing you might think of is gang rape.
its like teenage mutant ninja turtles being turned into teenage mutant hero turtles in Europe. Sad that some words are just too scary for the people. |

Yes, that's The Rock. The second thing that comes to mind is "chain gang..." Anyways, the schedules for two part timers. Quote:
They should do interviews with wrestlers, legends, alumni, whoever, on Cena vs. Rock. They did that with HHH and Undertaker at WM27. |

I was part of the chain gang
that would be a good idea. Have Bruno give his thoughts on what Cena is going through being the top man. I know some casual fan would say who the fuck is this guy and I can't make out what he is saying, but it would be cool. He headlined msg all those times and he can compare his situation with Cena. I do wonder what the message boards would have been saying about Bruno being champion for so long. History tells me that he was loved by everyone. But they're full of shit. Triple H can give the usual nobody works harder line. Jim Ross should give his thoughts on it. If Cena wins he might just be a contender for the hall of fame. |

A certain youtube ranter said he met Goldust in Queens and asked why he wasn't having a match with Cody at Wrestlemania. His response was Vince can't get his head out of his ass. Apparantly Goldust is in great shape as well. It's a shame, it would really be a good match. Cody would probably win but it's more exciting than Henry and Ryback. What is Ryback gonna do? Botch shellshock on Henry for the win? He had a hard time with Tensai, bound to screw up.
I got a feeling Wrestlemania might be abit of a stinker this year. Best match I think will be Brock and Triple H. Taker is too old now but will still likely win with the recent death and the fact that streak is rather precious and I don't think they'll give it to anybody regardless. Cena and Rock just will be boring. Cena is a guarantee otherwise he wouldn't of won the Rumble. Rock can't wrestle anymore for some reason and Cena needs a good opponent to have a good match imo. Ziggler is an unknown quantity. He could spice up Wrestlemania by cashing in. That Y2J and Ziggler for the title mentioned before still sounds awesome and they could set up a match next friggin' week, just do it. They have history for crying out loud, how hard can it be to have them fued off the bat. Obviously the writers brains are so jaded they can't come up with hardly anything. They should have 2 sets of writers, give out regular breaks so they can refresh. |

They probably do come up with some good ideas only Vince yells no and the guy never speaks again. No more creative freedom for you young man.
I know the world title match will be one of those I will look back on and say that was the least interesting world title match ever, less interesting than diesel vs mabel. Maybe they surprise me and beat the shit out of each to make the actual match exciting. |

Also, I think being burned out with all the writing they have to do. 3 hour RAWs, Smackdown, Pay-Per-Views. The 3 hour RAW has to be the worst for them. They're best when they write a wrestling dominated show, because that requires less work on the creative side, and let the guys go out and do that extra work. As for Goldust vs. Cody, it's obvious Vince somehow has no interest in it, but a majority of fans sure want it, how could one explain the reaction he got in his Rumble cameo?
