If you haven't seen "Schitt's Creek" you really need to. It is fucking hilarious.

Indulge me while I throw in a shameless plug for a little Canadian gem called "Caught". It is a mini series adapted from the Lisa Moore crime novel of the same name and stars some good Canadian talent both in front of and behind the camera. Quote:
It takes a lot to get me excited about network television but I am over the moon that "Timeless" will finally be back for season 2 premiering on Sunday, March 11 (10/9c) on NBC. Welcome back Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus, it's about time. There will also be a new addition to the cast in a recurring role, Nicholas Keynes (played by UnREAL‘s Michael Rady), who is an American soldier in WWI. After getting badly injured during battle, Keynes is carried to a farmhouse, where he is cared for by Emma (Annie Wersching) and Carol (Susanna Thompson), who want to save his life. Though he seems helpless at first, Keynes is much more formidable than he initially appears. Additional Season 2 episodes will explore the Salem Witch Trials and Hollywood circa the early 1940s. |

Maybe slightly off-topic, re-runs of Brit comedy sci-fi series Red Dwarf.
Their take on JFK's assassination was brilliant: |

Just finish watching the 8th and final episode of Season 4 of "Bron/Broen" aka The Bridge.
It's the end of the series. A fitting and spectacular finish. At the same time I wished there will be another season but the final scene before the ending credits showed a finality to the series and I am sad to see it end. |

Besides: Red Dwarf is one of the best comedy sci-fi shows of all time and all who haven't yet watched it will surely benefit from your suggestion.

If you have Netflix a new show dropped today. Its called The Frankenstein Chronicles:
Inspector John Marlott (played by the great Sean Bean) investigates a series of crimes in 19th Century London, which may have been committed by a scientist intent on re-animating the dead. Its a gruesome crime drama that runs for I think 6 episodes. |

Watching a 6 episode series called Mega Food about what it takes to feed a large group of people.
In the first episode: the Oasis of the Seas, the biggest cruise ship in the world. On a standard 7 day cruise from Miami to the Caribbean and back, 250 chefs out of 24 kitchens will serve over 280,000 meals in the 22 on board restaurants and also by room service totaling over 100 tons of food, precooked weight. That's not including meals served to every cruise ship employees on board on a daily basis. Just on Friday which is lobster night at 3 of their restaurants, they will serve over 6,000 lobsters. ABSURD!! The head chef (named Commander In Chef) checks all 24 kitchens, scattered throughout the length of the ship and across different decks, 3 times a day! That's a job I don't want. You also can't get me on one of those ships!! Now starting to watch the next episode about Singapore Airlines Airbus A-380, the largest passenger airliner in the world that can carry over 500 passengers and how a kitchen in Zurich Switzerland has 30 kitchen employees working around the clock just to make the meals needed to feed all 500+ passengers for the duration of just one A-380 flight. |

I love the Olympics but am glad that all my shows are back on this week so I binge watched some on demand last night. The one I was looking most forward to seeing was 9-1-1, excellent show. |

'The Orville' Season 2 Begins Production, Adds Classic Star Trek Writer
Production has officially gotten underway on the second season of FOX’s The Orville. Several members of the show’s cast and crew shared posts on social media from the show’s first table read of the season, including creator Seth MacFarlane, who tweeted out to thank the cast and crew for a great first table read. Assistant costume designer Ivy Thaide shared a photo to Instagram of the call sheet for the show's first episode. TrekMovie noticed that the sheet’s header lists Star Trek alum Joe Menosky as a co-executive producer. Menosky was a prolific Star Trek franchise writer in the 1990s, with over 50 credits across Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. He is probably best known for writing “Darmok,” one of the most memorable episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. More recently he worked on Star Trek: Discovery, co-writing the episode “Lethe” with Ted Sullivan. Menonsky has apparently jumped over to The Orville since then. The Orville is Fox’s science fiction dramedy created by Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane. The show is inspired by MacFarlane’s love of the Star Trek franchise. MacFarlane already executive produces The Orville alongside two Star Trek alumni: Brannon Braga, who worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise, and David A. Goodman, a longtime fan who wrote the popular Futurama tribute episode “Where No Fan Has Gone Before” before moving on to write for Star Trek: Enterprise. The addition of Menonsky only adds to the show's classic Star Trek credentials. The Orville recently made some new casting announcements, adding Jessica Szohr as a new series regular and Chris Johnson in a recurring role. The Orville was Fox’s biggest premiere since Empire and was soon renewed for a second season. “Once again Seth has struck a powerful chord with viewers,” said Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company in a statement when the renewal was announced. “He has delivered a series full of optimism, drama and his trademark humor. We want to thank him and the rest of the talented cast, as well as the producers and crew, for an incredible first season. We can’t wait to see where The Orville travels in the second.” 0comments Fox reported that The Orville had an audience of approximately 14 million viewers across all platforms. The new season of The Orville will consist of 14 episodes and will premiere on Fox in late 2018. |

Is anyone else that might be following Blindspot think that the female lead (Jaimie Alexander) has become a whining crybaby that needs to get over herself ???
Ashley Johnson is yummy and damn that Tori Anderson is fucking hot. She is our "hometown girl" ... she is also currently in the Canadian mini series named Caught where she plays "Ada" ... mmmmmmm Sad part is she is quickly leaving our price range for actors we can afford. |

If you are ever in a crappy mood and want to shake that funk, watch an episode of American Housewife and I promise you will be smiling for at least a 1/2 hour in the day ... I laughed so hard last night I think I pee'd a little.
