Rumors are flying around that Dave Batista might be cast as Drax in Marvel's "Guardians Of The Galaxy" movie. Jason Momba (Conan) is also being talked about for the role but he wants significantly more money for the role.
If Batista does snag the role this would be a huge break for him (playing a main character in a huge blockbuster movie). The movie is set to open August 1, 2014. |

I liked Batista when he was part of Evolution. His face turn was done very well.
The Batista Bomb was a nice finisher. Is he not competing in MMA anymore? Anyway, it will be interesting if he gets the role. I'll watch the movie.

He has a lot of potential, but always seems to pick the most lackluster projects. There are a lot of decent low-budget films in the works, and he could easily pick something better even if it isn't well-known. Quote:
Front is really more fitting for her, though. She's got that alt look, and that magazine always has the sexiest poses. Pl@yb0y would be a terrible choice, but it seems to be the ultimate for some people. Ashley Massaro had an alt look too, and they prepped her up beyond recognition. |

Ashley Massaro went overboard looking for those Angelina Jolie lips.

Rocky was rumored to be playing the main man (lobo ) in a dc film. I would have liked to see that, not so much rocky, but the lobo movie. Looks like they are not doing that movie now. Rocky was almost just the right size Quote:

From the same Bret Hart interview where he heavily downplayed HHH's abilities, there's a new portion.

Styles and Joe are two cases that make me think, because down there, there's a more finite amount of things to do, compared to WWE. |

Bret the Bitterman Hart. I do love his honesty.

Samoa Joe should take the advice and come along to WWE again, he can come in and dance with Brodus and Sweet T. That is exactly what he would be doing if he came. AJ, well I don't know about him. Yes of course he can wrestle, but as we all know it doesn't make a difference if all you can do is wrestle. I never saw much personality from him when I watched TNA and that would have probably left him wrestling Evan Bourne every week on Saturday morning slam if he came back to WWE so just ignore Bret guys, if you know what is good for you ** some raw notes Quote:

At least they're going back to abstract names. I've hated the match-specific PPV titles they've been using over the past few years. Royal Rumble and Survivor Series are grandfathered in, but 'Money In The Bank', 'Elimination Chamber', 'TLC', and 'Hell In A Cell'? Come on. I would really prefer having those matches possible at any time of the year instead of one specific month. And some of them, like the Money In The Bank matches, might not be used every year so it's special when it does happen. Cool-sounding names are just the way to go. 'Payback' isn't very creative, though. What about 'Methods of Mayhem'? Yes, like the band, only this PPV would be good.
As for The Hitman, I've got to disagree with him about Styles. WWE is the top dog on the business, but there is no guarantee he would be anything more than a jobber. Alan is definitely right about that. However, I definitely agree with him about Hogan and Bitchoff (I called him that as a child). Taker's back? Alright Alan-- should I make your sig now or later? |
