I've had no issues on this site whatsoever so that tells me it's well oiled (pun intended). Thanks PZ!

Agreed: too many posters upload interracial scenes with black women, and not enough black-on-black scenes, and there isn't a protocol here for identifying which is which.

This is mainly due to the fact that there is no tag system in place, I believe this is due to the forum software.

On a side note, Jake Steed's Freaks Whoes and Flows series was all black-on black, but most of those titles are over 20 years old...

I find it to be very comprehensive and there are multiples of hosts to choose from. I only use one host to download from and it seems most other boards have either one or two which limits the availability of the said files. I’m pretty new and I find it the civility of interaction to be a clear advantage (as a Canadian, I place a high premium on polite human interaction) over the others.

I concur with the premise of your argument and I’ll offer a non-expert opinion based on nothing but years spent watching porn. It seems there is a trend where Black female performers would only shoot IR scenes with white male talent for sometime and may eventually do a scene with the “token” black male (usually Isiah Maxwell or Prince Yahshua). I don’t know why they wouldn’t shoot Black/Black scenes but I believe it may have something to do with studio produced porn tend to draw demographics that skews older white males. This consumer group would not be a target group for Black/Black porn and thus we see the number of productions of Black/Black performers to be minimal.

Another factor is the advent of social media driven personalities whom the younger generations (the last cohort of millennials & generation Z) seem to be interested in, regardless of their ethnic background. These “socialites” eschew studio produced content and self produce via Onlyfans, ManyVids, Snapchat etc which is another channel for Black performers to use rather than jump through hoops to get to pornovalley.

Finally, there were more Black owned/operated studios in the prior decades which allowed Black performers to shoot Black/Black movies and not just IR but it seems they have gone out of business. The few that remain in business tend to be not capitalized fully in order to compete with the existing mainstream production companies. Their content is almost always subpar which doesn’t allow them to draw the top Black performers and as such, they don’t offer material that’s “good enough” for the market.

In a nutshell, planetsuzy is a snapshot of the demographics thats the main market for mainstream porn and the dearth of Black/Black movies is an indicative of this demographics.

Long post and I apologize if my oversimplification of a very complex matter falls short.

Seriously, I like the site's navigation, the way everything is laid out and the mods aren't overly strict unless they have to be. And 9 times out of 10 that strictness is for a damn good reason.

There are a lot of great things about PS but the thing that is special about PS specifically is the way it is organized.
Bluntly put, I am a bit OCD and my porn collection has been a good way to channel my obsessive need for organization and collecting into something at least somewhat constructive and the way PS is organized - with threads for girls and lots of additional info and tremendous bank of knowledge from everyone - has been the best source to help in my "work".
I love that the admin are both as much fans of porn as I am AND as neurotic about it being properly IDed, organized and classified
