Important: Do not discard the liquid in which you boiled the plantains Return the pureed plantain to the pot (the water you cooked them in is still in the pot) and let it cook for about 10 minutes more. Serve hot. Note: If you want to thin the beberage, you can add more water when you are re-heating it (some people prefer to add a little milk. You can add it when re-heating this atole to thin it out). I suggest to use only water.
