I wanted to see Big Show vs ADR again. Not.

I've got the feeling that Jack Swagger is just getting built up again so ADR can put him down and get himself more over. That is fair enough. I don't see him getting the world title though. Not now anyway. At least they are doing it right. I read the smackdown spoilers and this is kind of a spoiler, but then you already know he was not going to lose so I'm not spoiling anything. He gets another big win.

and agreed with Binfrog. A slight change of image would do him good. I'd pop if he came out with a skinhead next week.

Just as a reminder.

WWE Champion The Rock isn’t scheduled for next week’s WWE Raw in Dallas. Instead, Brock Lesnar is being advertised as the current plan is to rotate their appearances in the shows leading up to Wrestlemania 29.

That pretty much guarantees Lesnar to interfere in the Vince/Heyman fight.

If mainstream media attention is what WWE is going for with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter well main stream attention is what they got. The right-leaning Fox News Channel featured a critical segment in reaction to what was on this week’s Raw. They actually concluded by questioning whether or not Ann Coulter could take legal action for the play on her name.

WWE responded to a report by The Hollywood Reporter with the following statement:

“WWE has a long history of creating fictional characters that serve as either protagonists or antagonists, no different than other television shows or feature films,” said Brian Flinn, WWE’s senior vp marketing and communications. “To create compelling and relevant content for our audience, it is important to incorporate current events into our storylines.

“WWE is creating drama centered on a topical subject that has varying points of view to develop a rivalry between two characters,” he adds. “This storyline in no way represents WWE’s political point of view. One should not confuse WWE’s storytelling with what WWE stands for, similar to other entertainment companies such as Warner Bros., Universal Studios or Viacom.”

Not only does this criticism prove the mainstream media has nothing better to do than analyze a scripted television show but it highlights their lack of research. Linda McMahon ran twice as the Republican nominee for Connecticut state Senate and Vince McMahon was a donor to a Mitt Romney (the Republican Presidential nominee) super PAC.

It's a good thing I hardly watch TV.

I find it ridiculous when the mainstream media get all bent out of shape about something that is going on on a wrestling show. One minute it's "that wrestling stuff is so fake...absolute garbage" next minute, something like Swagger's current gimmick comes up and they get all up in arms. Either ignore what's going on on the "garbage" TV or cover it like mainstream sports.

We live in a PC world now that does not tollerate the slightest bit of prejudice in any form. A comic makes a gay joke and the GLAAD group is all over them. Make a joke or comment about blacks or other minorities and some group is right there to complain.

Hell celebs are having babies out of wedlock left and right now and there is no mention of the word bastard for fear it would anger the PC crowd now. So is anyone shocked that a redneck anti imigration character is drawing heat? Not me....

WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested last night in Mississippi, TMZ has learned -- after allegedly driving under the influence ... with pot in his car.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Swagger -- real name Jacob Hager -- was leaving a "Smackdown" taping at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi when he was pulled over for speeding.

According to law enforcement, the officer who pulled him over determined Swagger was driving under the influence -- and a search revealed Swagger was in possession of marijuana.

I wonder how this will affect Swagger's push.
Probably shouldn't if he behaves himself in the near future. We'll see.

I'm shocked at the arrest, not that he had pot, as it was reported in the past that he's a pot smoker. Further on the arrest. From TMZ

We're told Swagger -- a former WWE World Heavyweight champ -- was taken in by local police officers ... and later released on his own recognizance.

He has been charged with DUI (not alcohol), marijuana possession, and speeding -- all misdemeanors.

We reached out to WWE, who tells TMZ, "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."

This could hurt Swagger's push, but these things tend to not lead to anything harsh. One of the Usos got a DUI, they are still employed. Bo Dallas I think had a DUI way back then, and he's sort of in the main roster now. Kaitlyn was arrested on a past speeding violation, and while that's less serious than this, she's at least the Divas Champion.

I'll just say he'll be fine, the potential Swagger/Del Rio conflict is too important to let this have any baring.

All the boys in the locker room having a post show joint together and talking about good times then poor Jack gets arrested. I guess we will have to wait until next week to see it it hurts him, I'm not sure either way. I'm going to guess that he will not pay for this, at least not until Wrestlemania. We will find out sooner if he gets suspended. I know it sucks for him, but I would have to laugh.

One rumor is that Zeb will cut loose Swagger for losing at WM and bring in a new guy (Chris Hero) to be his protegee. Will be interesting to see how things turn out in the next few weeks. One thing is for sure, Swagger fucked up *and has bad luck).

I can't say anything about Swagger's indescrection as I to in my past have been saddled with a DUI, but in his case, he's a known person. He's on weekly world wide TV (now at least)...he is a representitive of WWE. This was a bad call on his part and if he gets punished, I wouldn't be surprised or feel sorry for him. I hope he doesn't though...at least until after Mania. And I like the idea of Chris Hero replacing him as Zeb's protege...Hero is the balls.

Not to overly defend MG Kaitlyn, but she was only arrested because she had an unpaid ticket from the past; it's not like she was pulled over and then arrested, but she had the police search her out because of an outstanding warrant. Kinda a BS charge & arrest, and that's not biased burtog talking.

Holy shit - Dutch Mantell talking for & being associated with Chris Hero? Ziggler & Kaitlyn just being themselves would still be #1 & 2 (in some order) but that'd be up there with the SHIELD as the best thing the WWE could do to get me to tune in.
