Yeah! I wasn't expecting Brock to return so soon so that was a surprise for me.
As always, brilliant stuff from Paul Heyman! The Great Khali singing Shawn Michaels' theme song was the other highlight of the night. Oh and I almost forgot about Trish.

Good to see Brock back HHH wont be long now then that leaves us only Taker b4 WM gets set & rollin. Now if Punk can some how win back the WWE title from The Rock Meaning we wont get that crappy Rock Cena II

Glad the Rock won but since Cena won the Rumble match it just ruined the WWE championship for me because I knew if Rock wins it will be Cena/Rock2 at Wrestlemania. |

I know i'm late because Raw has aired etc.. but I watched RR late.
Best match of the night for me was ADR v Big Show. It was hardcorish for PG and a decent table spot unlike the other table spot later that night, Rocky.. Yes, the finish was copied from before but i've come to expect crap like that now. Everyone knew ADR was gonna win anyway so who really cares. Before the match Bret Hart passing the torch to Del Rio.. abit random, cheesy and confusing to be honest. The logic must be at least he can win title matches like I could. Bad enough Miz who has fallen so much has inherited Flairs figure 4. Makes Flair look like an idiot, passing it to a guy who can't even beat Cesaro. Get back to commentating Miz, that is where your new career is. Scholars and Hell No was boring as and Hell No are very likely going to drop the titles to the Shield. Rumble delivered exactly what I said: Came down to Cena & Ryback, so as may imagine I felt kinda smug but disappointed at the same time. The rumors failed with no Benjamin or Carlito. I was excited for Y2J but then I quickly didn't give rats, after all he was only there a few months ago. Goldust and Cody was the highlight. I thought Kofi doing the handstand walk was more impressive so WHY DO THE CHAIR! It looked retarded, I was so glad he got eliminated after he made it back. F'N HAVE IT! If he does more of that shit next year i'm gonna throw my tv set out the window and hopefully it'll smack a Kofi lookalike on the head. F'N HAVE IT! Now the match I was reasonably hyped for, Rock and Punk.. Botched total garbage junk crap. Can Rock even wrestle anymore? I could of wrestled better than that and i'm a skinny, bearded, complete amateur. I knew Vince was gonna come out but didn't expect for the Rock just to decide he can make matches now. He is more like Cena than he realizes. Then as mentioned by Pyscho, a f'n pathetic elbow who he beat hardly anybody with before ends the 6th longest title reign. BS! If you have watched wrestling for years you can only feel disappointment after that so idk if that fat kid in the yt vid was faking it but he was right to be pissed. Somebody said here or somewhere else if RockvPunk was last then Rock was winning, so whoever said that congrats. I see Brock comes back for Raw, haven't watched it yet, will later on today so lets see what happens of this comeback. But yet again more attitude era stars paving the way to Mania.. 1 day that won't happen, then what WWE.. totally f'd. They'll be relying even more on Cena and Orton. |

woohoo Brock Lesnar Looks leaner again.
As soon as Vince said You're... you knew Brock's music would come on. Just being a wresting fan this shit is put into your brain, especially after you knew he signed another new deal. F5 to Vince so it looks like they will definitely be doing the Triple H rematch at Wrestlemania. Raw was alright. |

So is Lita up for consideration too or will it be another fucking five years before WWE acknowledges that she exists?
Before anyone asks, here's my problem: Up until her return last year against Heath Slater, WWE didn't mention Lita at all. Through revisionist history, they've basically led people to believe that Trish was this "Second Coming of Jesus" for Women's Wrestling while never once mentioning Lita until she returned for the 1000th Raw. TBH, I find it to be bullshit. They overrate Trish's importance and underrate Lita's importance. It's like: "TRISH IS DA GREATEST EVAR AND SINGLE-HANDEDLY REVOLUTIONIZED WOMEN'S WRESTLING HERE!!! ...Oh...and Lita too...she helped a little, I guess..." Lita beat the boss' daughter for the title. She was the first woman ever to compete in TLC matches, she competed with the men in mixed tag matches before the whole "men beating women" shit happened. She shed blood and tears in the ring. She was humiliated on national television. She main evented Raw with Victoria in the FIRST women's steel cage match. She broke her neck, came back, and dominated as a heel two years later. She was one of the best female heels in history. She was basically made out to be the biggest whore on the planet ON TELEVISION FOR VINCE'S RATINGS, but no, she isn't that important. It's like they are willing to go out of their way to bend over backwards in order to give Trish all of the glory for a fraction of the work. Honestly, Lita was just as important as Trish Stratus (maybe more) and as a longtime diehard Lita fan, I find it to be fucking insulting that they give Trish all of the glory and none of the blame.

Reason: not a golf thread
you know their point of view though. Lita is this weirdo that doesn't appeal to the masses, while Trish is the Amazon beauty loved by the whole world. who should we put in? CM Punk hmmm, he came out like a mad man . I was thinking this guy aint straight edge, what drugs is he on? If not a triple threat then the only match I can see is The Undertaker. We were already speculating about that so time will tell. Best thing on Raw was probably Matt Striker taking the shellshocker or whatever the fuck it is called. I was a Ryback fan for a minute. I skipped most of Raw to watch a hockey game, but in reading the results, I'm not sure that I'm upset about anything that I missed; the only match that I saw was the Ziggler/Jericho vs Hell No match ... decent but with a predictable outcome. And the outcome of the "job review" was so telegraphed that I ended up watching a Big Japan match instead of the Main Event Promo (I'm not nearly enough of a Lesnar fan to stick through a Vince McMahon promo).
And I have to say, Psycho Man, you're more passionate about the whole Lita vs Trish thing than I thought someone would be. Trish is the "chosen one", much the same way that the WWE pretends that Shawn Michaels is the best wrestler ever (and he's probably not even in the top 10) or that everyone under the sun would quiver in fear over Taker or HHH. They pick & choose who the best ones are, and we just deal with it. With that said: Trish did do more for the divas division than Lita. I prefer Lita (aesthetically & in-the-ring) but Trish made more money, did a better job of being the 'face' of the division, and is one of the main reasons that divas went from being managers (e.g. Sable, Marlena) to in-ring competitors. And I do have to point out: Lita's come back nearly every year since she retired; I can think of like 3 or 4 return appearances, and I barely pay attention to things like that, so am probably missing a few. |
